"All right. Ah guess ah'll head ta the bar, see if they got any food or somethin'. Ya want me ta get ya or Flower anythin' special?"

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller snorts, "It would be best if we don't mention this to them, but I will buy both MedX. Honestly not sure if we're going to be traveling together much. I'll stop by the bar for a bottle of Alcohol, might have to do some field surgery."

He pulls the caps out for the med-x, "It was 20 each right?"

"Oh right, I was curious as to why you didn't react much to my prosthesis."

[Orm]

Searchlight got up off the bench and walked back into the bar, taking a seat at the counter. "Hey, can I get a drink? Bottle of whiskey would be great." He said to the bartender.

[Guest]

"No thanks. I'll meet you and Cherry there when I'm done."He trots off to the general store and enters it.

[Guest]

"All right, bud. Catch ya later."Shadow and Cherry walk into the bar and walk over to the bartender.

[Ironmonger]

Cast Iron trots to the guard house. "I vould like to speak vith zeh Guard Captain."

[CamoBadger]

"Yup, 20 each," she replied as she went to grab the other Med-X. "Honestly, I don't really mind them. Kinda spooked me at first, but we were in the moment, so I didn't see a reason to comment," the mare replied as she trotted back with the second syringe. "And I doubt you would've appreciated me stopping to mention your iron wingboner."


"Good morning," Cinnamon greeted Tumble from the counter. "What can I get for you?"


The radio in the bar faded down from a slow tune and returned to the deep voice of Pon3.

Hello again Wasteland. That was Sapphire Shores with 'Don't Leave Me Hanging'.

Now I know this is the last thing you wanted after this morning, but I'm afraid I've got more news for you all about the attack on Freemane. According to a source of mine, there still appears to be fighting in the city. Now, I don't know if some of the ponies there took to hiding and just got caught, or if this is an organized resistance, but I'm sure they could use a hoof. So if you happen to be in the area, make your way over there and help out will ya?

I know it's dangerous, but put yourself in their horseshoes. I bet you'd be pretty keen on some help from anyone that could give it, so how about we help each other for once instead of looking the other way?

A large pony in heavy armor turns to face Cast Iron. "What do you want?"

He floats the crosshooved Flower onto the counter "Got any armor her size?"

Shadow snorts at the radio"Where was Pon-3's call fer help when my home burned, huh?"

"Shadow, we've been over this..."

"What? Just 'cause some place has a name and is a little bigger, doesn't mean it's more important."

[Ironmonger]

"Captain Cast Iron of zeh Germane Army." he says making a quick salute to the smaller pony."Apparently zere has been a few attacks on ozer settlements, and now zere is a problem with supplies. Anyzing I can do?"

[Orm]

Searchlight was quiet for a while after hearing the radio. "Hey, bartender. Which way is Freemane?" He asked.

[CamoBadger]

"Aw, hello sweetie," the mare cooed to Flower before looking back up to Tumble. "No, sorry. But if you don't mind waiting a day or two I can take a larger set and make something for her."


"You want to help with the attacks?" the Captain asked rhetorically. "Then go help. Radio just said the attack is still happening over in Freemane."


The bartender didn't look up as he answered. "West, about five hours walking."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"Heh, Iron Wingboner. Nice one." Painkiller gives a chuckle as he stows the Med-X. "Well if you have a radio, I'd keep an ear open on it were I you. There's some fucked up shit going on in these parts. You might have to make a stand."

He leaves and follows a pony into the bar in time to hear Searchlight ask where Freemane was. "5 hours west huh?"

He turns and heads for the door, Some ponies might need a Doctor. He'll answer their call.

[Ironmonger]

Cast Iron shrugs. "Zanks, I suppose." He turns to go find the others.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller spots Cast Iron, "There's still fighting in Freemane, 5 hours west of here. We leave yesterday! Find the others as soon as you can, likely they'll come out of the wood works. They'll need doctors too make sure Clock gets her plot in gear."

[Guest]

"I'm not going to be around that much longer. There's no way you could do it a little faster?"

[CamoBadger]

"Well..." she looked up in thought, trying to think of something. "I suppose if you want something fast I can just cut up some pieces and tape them together real quick. It won't be very comfortable, but it'll be better than nothing."

[Orm]

Searchlight got up off his chair and walked to the door. Before leaving he looks back at Shadow and Cherry. "Aren't you two going?" He asked them.

[Guest]

He silently weighs the options. "If I took the armor to someone else afterwards could they fix it?"

[Ironmonger]

"I vas already asking zeh Guard Captain about zat, mein freund. Zey vill need trained soldier so I vill go as vell." he says, trotting into the bar and having a seat.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller follows cast Iron into the bar and scans the crowd, he spots cherry and makes his way over.

"Cadet Blossom, It's time to move out, there's ponies who need help."

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal slowly wakes from his deep slumber. He hadn't slept this well in months. it is at this moment that he realizes that he is holding Clockwork in his hooves. He is startled for a moment, but then smiles as he remembers the previous night. He lays there for a moment, enjoying the warmth, before he nuzzles her neck.

"Clock...wake up," he whispers into her ear.

[Tytan]

"Dun wanna."

[Guest]

"Why should ah?"

"Shadow, please, they need help."

"So, plenty of folks need help. We don't drop everythin' ta help them."

Cherry hears Painkiller and involuntaraly salutes"Yes, sir!"She starts to head out.

"W-wait, Blossom. Ya can't be serious." He says worriedly.

"Sorry, Shadow, orders are orders."

"But ah, uh.*Sighs* Fine, ah ain't lettin' ya go by yerself."

"So, yer gonna come?"She asks hopefully

"Ya ain't leavin' me much choice. Are ya love?"

She smiles"Thank ya."

"Only fer you, Blossom."He glares at Painkiller and a tendril tightens around the hilt of his combat knife

"Yeah, someone could stitch it up."

[Guest]

"Alright, How much?"

[XT Vengeance]

"Too bad. We need to get up, it's already bright outside. Besides...I think we both might need to stretch after last night..." he whispers into her ear conspiratorially. He then smacks her flank with his tail.

[CamoBadger]

"I'll do it for 50 caps since it's for a little one," Cinnamon replied with a smile.

[Guest]

"Thank you. That means a lot." He returns the smile and slides fifty caps onto the counter.
