"It just second hand experience really, I've worked with several pegasus, griffons and even ghoul flyers. They would go nuts without the ability to fly for a short time while I patched up their bullet holes."

He's finished pulling off the bandages and inspects the flight muscles all the way to his primaries.

{Medicine 40 rolls a 35} "Looks like the wound has sealed up properly, no signs of infection. Slowly raise and lower your wings, then perform a slow motion flight movement. Let me know if you feel any discomfort, stiffness is normal."

[Katarn]

Sighs slightly annoyed and moves his wings up and down. Then Rises wings up and moves them down, as if he tried to fly. He winces slightly. "Still hurts a little, but I can handle it."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"alright, is it a pinch or a pull?" The doctor asks, He knows that he won't be able to stop the griffon from flying but he wants to make sure he at least understands what the results of abuse to the injury will do.

[Katarn]

"Pull."

"Most folks do. I mean they all like 'Your kin destroyed everything and spread misery!' Like your kin didn't do same....sorry, didn't mean to be rude, I'm Novae, you are Cherry, right? Lovely name. Nice hat, looks almost like new. Need some repairs? I can fix almost everything." Grins.

"I'll do my best. I don't exactly have any of my herbs though. I didn't think I would need them. Then again, I didn't think I would be out here this long. I had only come to the desert to get away from it all, you know?" Charcoal says to the mare. He looks around the desert for any useful plants. [survival 33 roll 28]

Charcoal sees a pair of herbs sticking out of a nearby rock cluster. They're likely irradiated.

"I'm sure whatever you make will be great. And yeah, I can understand wanting to get away from it all... at least for a little while."

[Guest]

"Cherry Blossom, actually, but ya can call me Cherry. And thanks, it's exactly new, but ah try ta keep it lookin' nice."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"That would be stiffness from your muscles' rapid healing. The only thing you can do with that is carefully work through the stiff muscles and stretch them back to their best flight condition, I imagine your 'daughter' could massage the muscle groups for you." Painkiller takes a couple of paces away from Jayne. "Now, take an easy lift off. Ascend to twenty paces, glide for ten maintaining altitude, then bank back around in a figure eight to come in for a landing."

Charcoal sets the two cans of beans from his bags down and picks the herbs, placing them in his bags. "I don't have room for both of these, but anypony can have this food if they want it." he calls out to the group.

He turns back to Clock. "I suppose your right. I do want to go back home, just not yet."

[Katarn]

[Endurance roll: 10+4=14] Jayne smirks and 'jumps' into the air, gaining altitude quickly with thrust from his wings, he ignoring all minor pain, that wing were causing him. He does few somersaults and then drops down, from where he flew up. "This will do?"

[Tytan]

"Home is a bit of an alien concept to me. I've never had one. At least not a place I could call home."

[Orm]

Searchlight picked up the cans with his magic and put them in his bags. "I've got plenty of room in my bags, I'll just hang on to them for now."

[XT Vengeance]

"Thanks," he says to searchlight.

Charcoal turns back to Clock. "Well, I had one, then I didn't, and now I have one again. The Nest is a bit lonely at times, but it is safe for the wasteland. Maybe after this I can show it to you. It would be a nice spot to take a break from running a caravan."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"That'll do fine. Just keep your flight easy on those muscles till the pulling subsides. By then your muscles will have relaxed and stretched enough. Also like I said before, be sure to have your flight muscles massaged to speed up your results and reduce your injury risk. I recommend at least twice daily." Painkiller looks off in the direction the rest of the herd was travelling. "Some folks would call that a caravan don't you think? It just needs a wagon."

[Tytan]

Clock chuckles, "No one's accused you of being subtle, have they? Sure, I'd love to see it."

[Katarn]

"And who will pull it? You? That oversized puppy? Or some pony?" Jayne laughs.

[XT Vengeance]

"What...I...I didn't mean...I wouldn't...I..." Charcoal stutters.

[Tytan]

"Charcoal. You don't need to second guess yourself so much. You'd have to try a lot harder to put me off."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller begins trotting off after the group, "Well that big Germane colt Cast Iron for one. His legs look like they were meant for work, not dexterity and he continues on about how they were made from industrial parts. Push comes to shove, nopony's pushing him." He pulls into a canter to close distance.

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal lowers his head. "Sorry. I just...I'm no good at this sort of thing."

[Katarn]

Glide beside Painkiller. "That pony? I thought he was weird somehow. Though you're right about caravan. Some one could be even stupid enough to attack us."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"Then I would have to patch up some more ponies." Painkiller replies with a huff in his breath. "Including, I am sure, a certain griffon."

[Tytan]

"I'm fine with that. I'm not gonna leave you high and dry because you say the wrong thing."

[Katarn]

"So you are a doctor...well, I guess some might need patching up. I'm good though. Not sure about that fresh-to-wasteland colt with thing on his hoof and that pony, who cares his daughter in bag. Who would even think about carrying kid in there?!"

[XT Vengeance]

"Well...thanks. I really appreciate you giving me a chance," Charcoal says, smiling at the light grey mare.

[Tytan]

"My pleasure."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

[spot check perception 5 roll 6] Painkiller has a weird feeling, he can see the group has stopped for a bit and takes a look around while slowing to a trot.

Painkiller sees nothing.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

He lets out a sigh of relief. "Well kitty, I think we should get back with the others. Also, the name's Doctor Painkiller."

"My name is Jayne."
"Kitty?" Jayne rises eyebrow.
