"Ah'll be fine."She gets off Shadow's back and gives him his coat.

"All right."He stops to put on his gear, then follows after the rest of the group.

Cherry follows him

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"We've caught up everyone." Painkiller announces just ignoring Jayne's inquiry. "Kitty over there is a-okay to fly."

By the time the group reaches Old Appleloosa again the hazy light of morning has begun to stretch over the town. Ponies that own stores are unlocking their doors and preparing for business, while the residents of the Inn begin making their way out and about for the day.
Silver Star props up his hooves at the Salty Lick for the morning, anticipating the return of the company he sent out to search the ruins of Fiddler's Hoof.

[XT Vengeance]

"Lets go tell Silver Star what we found." Charcoal suggests upon entering the town.

"Good, time ta get payed."He starts to head of the Salty Lick

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"No wait, what if there's something else we're supposed to do, maybe we don't tell him everything." Painkiller cuts off charcoal. He casts a look at Searchlight.

"Charcoal":

"You have a point, but Searchlight himself can tell him he doesn't know anything. Besides, he was attacked like us."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"It doesn't matter, Ghouls did it, there was a ghoul in the camp that started it. There is a chance he would be considered a sleeper. We don't tel him everything."

Tumble follows after Shadow.

[perception 6 (10+1]Cherry over hears Painkiller and Charcoal"What do y'all think we should?"

"Ah'm gonna tell'im what we know. That's what we were hired ta do, no more no less."

She looks at Tumble.

[XT Vengeance]

"I myself will vouch for Searchlight. He was up on the wall with me fighting back. Not everyone jumps to conclusions. I say that we tell him what we know."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"Just doing what you're told like a dog, No offense." He says aside to Viktor. "This isn't something you can just roll some dice about, boy this is Searchlight's life. I've seen what happens to a black sheep in the wasteland." He's not entirely sure if this youngling really can comprehend the implications. Shadow would cause much trouble with that balck and white attitude.

"I could vouch for him as well, but thats not saying much since we aren't from around here. Would you take the word of a total stranger?" He's reaching, trying to get Charcoal to see things from the perspective of a wealthy investor.

[Guest]

"Ah don't care, jobs a job. And ah complete my jobs."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"How much is it to hire you for a kill then?"

Viktor grumbles.

[Ketchup]

"Searchlight seems the good sort to me. I doubt he'd go around killing ponies and griffons willy nilly. Besides, he's fought against them and with us."

[Guest]

"Depends on who, and how ya want it done. Why, got a request?"

[Katarn]

"Depends on the target. Seriously. Worst case - he can run away."

Uhm, sorry to interrupt, but what does our boss look like? I wasn't here when we got the job is all..
*Frank clumsily tries to change the subject before a fight breaks out*

"I'd suggest you hold your tongue. Not everyone is as big of an ass as you think. If we don't tell him it was ghouls, then we won't have completed the job," Charcoal trots up to Silver Star.

"We found out some information for you."

[CamoBadger]

"Excellent," the stallion replied and turned away from his drink. "What did you find?"

[XT Vengeance]

"Well, there were raiders there when we arrived, but they weren't involved. All of the corpses from the attack were ghouls wearing leather vests. And before you ask, out ghoul friend was not involved."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller whirls, "Where is he going to run to? Silver Star obviously carries much influence in the town, otherwise he would have been at Fiddler's hoof! Do you think the guard are just going to open the gate for him to let him run? Are you going to help his escape? Any presence of a ghoul in town will be barred and put under suspicion. This effect will not just spread toward one ghoul, but every ghoul, and if there is a reason for ghouls to organize into an army it would be the prejudice they face already. Once word gets out, it won't just be Old Appaloosa."

[CamoBadger]

"All ghouls, every one?" Silver asked and shook his head. "And nothing else? No insignia or anything?"

[Guest]

"No, sir, ah didn't see anythin' on'em."

He lifts the saddlebags from Cast and places it in front of Silver."We found these as well. Apparently they picked through your guards and some of the others."

[XT Vengeance]

"Nope. They were just ghouls. It seemed kind of strange, but there was a ghoul that killed the guard captain when the attack happened," Charcoal continues, ignoring Painkiller.

[Katarn]

"And from what I recall, unless you know that already, it was good planned and prepared attack. They DID have some heavy weapons."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"Idiots, children! Lived here their whole lives, but no head for politics and cause or effect." He whirls in place stomping a hoof. "Searchlight, be on your guard, even if he doesn't order your arrest or exile, others might take action, friends, family, and loved ones were there, anypony in town might hold you as responsible even tho you were not."

[Orm]

"I don't have anything to worry about. I don't even live here so being exiled from this place isn't a big deal. Besides you're just jumping to conclusions. I've got nothing to worry about."
