"I...I meant more that Scorch likes to make things awkward for me. But let me guess, someone thought he was a hellhound and attacked?"

"Oh, he never does that. He doesn't care about that stuff.

And... that's not exactly what happened. Someone thought he was a hellhound, but that someone was a hellhound."

"Wait, what? Oh you mean...it was a she, wasn't it?"

"I... don't think so. I wasn't exactly looking down there. I was to scared."

"I didn't...I didn't mean to imply that you were...I just thought that was where the story was going," Charcoal says, embarrassment coloring his voice.

"No, it's fine. Isn't that how most stories about dogs end up anyways?"

"I guess. Though I haven't really spent all that much time around dogs. Let alone sand dogs or hellhounds."

[Tytan]

"Yeah, you don't see many dogs. Almost never Sand Dogs. And if you run into a Hellhound you don't usually live to talk about it."

"The only one I have ever seen was through the scope of my rifle. Luckily they tend to avoid the cities."

"Mhm. Luckily that only happened once."

"I usually carry around a clip or two of AP rounds just in case. I used up the ones I had though." Charcoal's thoughts start to drift back into the darkness. he shakes his head quickly to snap out of it.

"Hey, I found a brahmin steak if you want to maybe have dinner later..."

"Nice glasses. And scar. Surgery? Fight? My father have similar, I mean glasses and scar, only across his face. He thinks it makes him look good, both of them. Who are you? I think I saw you. Nice mare on your back. Where did she got that hat? I wanna same. Nice vest, I can fix almost everything if you want." Novae suddenly appear before Shadow and starts bouncing around him.

"Stop annoy folks...and don't call me dad in public." Jayne sighs, while looking at bouncing Novae.

"Sure da---Jayne." Giggle.

"I'll do my best. I don't exactly have any of my herbs though. I didn't think I would need them. Then again, I didn't think I would be out here this long. I had only come to the desert to get away from it all, you know?" Charcoal says to the mare. He looks around the desert for any useful plants. [survival 33 roll 28]

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller notices the bandages on Jayne's wing. "What happened to your wing, sir?"

Shadow looks at Novae and sighs"It's bright out, Ah don't wanna talk 'bout it. She's very nice, had it with her when ah met her. And Cherry's got my stuff covered."He answers annoyed with the mare's line of questioning.

"So she's Cherry." Pint's at mare on Shadow's back. "And you are?"

"I'd lie to you and say I've wrestled Hellhound..." Looks at Novae. ""But that was caused by a swarm of bloat sprites...why are you askin'?"

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"I have," He hesitates for a moment searching for the right word, "extensive experience on working with wings. What did the doctor that treated you say about the damage to it? Do you mind if I take a closer look?"

"None of yer concern."

He sighs.

"She said 'You're good to go, now pay 50 caps.' So....you're doctor of some kind? I don't really mind you looking at it..if it's wouldn't cost me caps."

"Wow. Cool name, cool looks. You're cool. I'm Novae." Grin

"Okay I don't really approve much of her communication with you about your injury." Painkiller shakes his head. "the work is competent, but I need to know exactly what caused the injury if it was impact or a bite."

"Bite." He said with frown, lowering his body and spreading his wings. "They don't hurt anymore. Maybe I even could fly. Surely can flap them." He makes few swings.

"...Right, look, there somethin' else ya could be doin right now?"

"Nope." Grin. Then grin fades. "You just don't like me, right? It's okay, if I annoy you, just tell me."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"Alright then, Looks like they move alright with the bandages, let me remove them, and we can give it a full check." Painkiller beings to unwrap the bandages, "You all just go on ahead, we will catch up." He says to the rest of the group.

"I know its hard for you to be ground bound."

[Katarn]

"You do? It's not as annoying as you think. It sucks though."

Shadow stares at her.

Cherry hits him upside the head with her wing"*Yawn*Don't mind him*Yawn*He's just bein' a sourpuss. Ain't that right, sunshine?"

"Don't call me that..."He grumbles under his breath.

"Ah'm sorry, ah don't think ah quite heard ya."She grins

"*Sigh*...It was nothin' Blossom."

"That's what ah thought."

"Nah, it's fine, really. I'm used to be someone, who 'isn't welcome around'. Mostly because i have stripes..but as I can tell, most of folks here don't mind me. That's slightly odd for me."

"Oh, trust me, sugar cube. It ain't nothin' ta do with yer stripes. Shadow, just doesn't really like anypony."
