I was just trying to figure out who else might be in the group is all. What about you Tumble, I could be mistaken but I don't think I've seen you around before."

"If I'll join some caravan, that would be either for good pay or good reason."

"Well I know most people in this town already, and it gets pretty boring around here. Sorry if I intruded, but I've never met a Griffin before so I just had to come over, and you were so nice as to introduce yourself I just figured you were good for a few questions"

"I guess I'm alright for a few. As long as it's not too many." He replies.

"Ok great. If you can remember, about how many of you were there? I'm just trying to get a rough idea of how many people I'm looking for. Also, why aren't you traveling with them? What I mean is, is there something about them I should know? Something bad?"

"There's the mare with the creepy mask, the desperate buck with the creepy box, the two guys you mentioned earlier, these two," he gestured to Novea and Jay. "the lovers, the guy with the bird and Ms.List." he quickly counts

"So ten, and I'm not traveling with them because I don't have a good reason to. The other night was out of necessity."

"Oh and a robot with an orange light."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller is still a bit woozy in the head with a hangover, it felt good to be back outdoors, even if the light that managed to penetrate the cloud layer was still too obnoxiously bright. He was in a bit of a daze for a couple of hours, nothing doing when it came to ponies. The phoenix, it was the same from the night before, he elected to keep his distance and silence. Its just not in him to want to... his stomach growls audibly. "Guess its time to eat."

He recalled the general store having a few edible bits for sale, and nothing will keep him from breakfast. Well, one thing will, and that thing is the door. He sits on his rump staring at it, not even bothering to attempt to lift a hoof, somepony will go in at one point, and he will be right behind them.

[Ironmonger]

Cast Iron turns to Painkiller. "Are you alright after last night's bird incident?" he asked sternly but with a hint of concern for his friend.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Distractedly Painkiller groans inward, "I'll be fine, my blood just rushed all to the rest of my body without leaving enough for the head, and since I did not exert myself in my panic, I passed out. Although, I have no clue what happened after, I can guess you got us a room. How much was it anyway?"

[Ironmonger]

"Vun hundred caps. I zink I scared zeh innkeeper." he replies honestly.

"Well that doesn't sound TOO bad I suppose. It was nice meeting you guys, but if you aren't coming with I suppose I better find some ponies that are. Maybe I'll see you around."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Slowly, ever so slowly, he turns his head, "You're kidding right? That moth eaten mattress and filthy blanket was a hundred? You didn't even have a bed to sleep on. that floor could not have been comfortable even if you slept standing up...." Painkiller winces a bit as a throb pulses through his brain. He takes a pull from his canteen and the throb decreases. His stomach churns with want for food. "Tell me it came with a continental breakfast."

[Ironmonger]

Cast Iron gives a faltering smile, not sure if the Doktor was just being factual or if he actually he cared about his well-being. "Nein. However I still have some brahmin steaks."

[Guest]

"Sure. C'mon." Tumble walks off his daughter only a few steps behind.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"I'll just have a look in the general store first. She's bound to have some food for sale. Ponies don't just live off their own waste if you know what I mean." Painkiller replies, he's still contemplating the door. "Mind giving me an introduction?"

[Ironmonger]

Cast Iron is starting to catch onto the Doktor's unique way of speaking and decides that he means "just open the door", or something along those lines. He opens the door to the general store with a hoof and ducks under the doorway, this time making sure to remove his helmet beforehoof.

[CamoBadger]

"Welcome back! What can I get for you?" the mare behind the counter asked brightly.

[Ironmonger]

"Have any food for sale? I zink I can actually do trade zis time."

[CamoBadger]

"You bet I do, here's what I've got."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller winces a little as he enters, the lower light indoors are better for his hangover, but he hasn't gotten over the phobia because of it.

"I was looking for some food, what have you to offer?" He asks a bit more distracted than usual. [Charisma 1]

"I'll take 1 snack cake and 2 of the carrot chips."

[Ironmonger]

"How much for two cans of Cram?"

[CamoBadger]

"Two cans of Cram will be 6 bits."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"Better make that 4 Carrot chips and one snack cake instead." Painkiller puts out fast hearing the lower prices.

[Ironmonger]

Cast Iron shrugs and floats out the 6 bottle caps, placing them on the counter.

[CamoBadger]

The mare pushes the food across the table and slides the caps back to her side. "Thank you very much."

((Your characters are now back outside the shop))

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal stands up, putting away his book. Scorch perched on his back, he trots over to the bounty board, not sure if there would be any new jobs.

[Perception 6 (1+1)]Charcoal trots right up to the board, to distracted with his thoughts to notice anything else.

[Tytan]

Clock is looking at the bounty board, but all that's left is a bunch of scraps of paper with illegible writing. She turns to leave and bumps into Charcoal, "Oof. Oh..." Clock blushes.

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal is knocked out of his thoughts with a bump. "Oh shit, sorry I wasn't..." his voice trails off as he notices he had collided with Clock. "Um...hi," he says to her, his mind racing once more.

Clock stutters, "S-sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going."
