I started the British TD line and just got the Valentine AT. The UC2 is pretty fun and quick, but lacks armor. I haven't used my Valentine yet, but according to the stats and from what I've experienced fighting them, they have pretty decent armor, but are weak in the top/back turret area.

Well, the hull armor is the same as the Valentine's, yeah. But the gun shield is made of tinfoil. Everyone's gonna shoot there.

The next tier's Alecto is more interesting. It's build from a Tetrarch, so it has no armor to speak of - but it's as fast as the base, and has a cool gun.

Alecto's pretty good. I need to work my way to a better gun, but the thing has decent speed and maneuverability.

I just got the AT 2, and I love it.
It's pretty much the opposite of the Alecto. No speed or maneuverability to speak of, but dat armor. I think there's literally nothing on tier 5 that can reliably punch through the forward armor, even with gold rounds. About every survived fight is a Steel Wall prize.

I know this, and this is exactly why I want it so bad.

Sadly, 90% of my battles with the Alecto end with my team getting steamrolled. I just have horrible luck.

On the plus side, I'm getting closer and closer to getting my T49.

Okay, it's official: my Alecto's cursed. The game does not want me to get an AT-2. In addition to my continued string of bad luck of my team getting steamrolled whenever I use it, I had a match where upon loading, my client crashed, I was out for about two minutes, then I got back in and only 4-5 of my team were left, and they didn't even last a full minute.

The game just hates me.

Sometimes, when it's on top of the list, isn't focused by SPGs and there isn't a sudden TD attack from behind, an AMX-40 can do truly amazing things.
