"Look, I kill raiders. Because I hate them. I hate what they represent, and I hate what they do to ponies, what they did to me," he says, raising his voice slightly. "There's nothing noble about it," he says, quieting back down, deflated.

[Tytan]

"Might not be noble, doesn't mean it's not good. Who wants to be noble anyways? Last I checked the wasteland exists because ponies thought they were being noble."

Regardless of whether or not it's an act of vengeance, you're still a force of good in the eyes of the innocents of the Wasteland.

"Look, I know you are trying to help and all, but please don't. I'm not a good pony, and you should be more worried about yourselves."

"You may not trust our opinions, but do you really think Scorch would stick around if you were really that bad?"

Shadow appears behind Robo"If he says he ain't a good pony, then he ain't. Quite frankly, ah don't think there are good ponies, just ones that survive , and dead ones."He walks over to the fridge

"Well no..but," Charcoal stammered, seeing Clock's argument brazenly crushing his own.

Shadow shrugs"Nah, it's kinda fun ta do that."

Clock walks up next to Shadow and drapes a hoof over his neck, "What about me? Am I not a good pony? What about Blossom, or Emma... what about Whisper?"

Shadow shrugs"Not my place ta say, ah have no right ta make that kind of judgement, ah'm just sayin' ah haven't anypony that can say they're all good, or all bad. It's just a big grey area, they just do what they have ta do ta stay alive."

*silently sips coffee*

Clock rocks him side to side and speaks in a sing song voice, "That's a really bleak outlook~."

Charcoal pours his food into a bowl, and carries it with him out the door, Scorch already placed on his back. He silently leaves the room and trots outside to eat in cool morning air.

[Guest]

A tendril pulls down his glasses and looks Clock in the eyes"Watchin' the ones ya care 'bout die will do that ta ya ah guess."He turns and starts looking for food again

*smiles behind coffee mug* It is.

*sighs and rubs forehead* I keep forgetting that bit...

"You aren't the only one Mr. Shadow. Remember when I told you about the ambush that led to me meeting Vik? That was the same caravan my father left behind. I knew some of those ponies my entire life. They might as well have been family. I watched them die in a matter of minutes."

[Guest]

"Ah know, some folks just take it differently. Ah take it as ah need ta do what ah can ta make sure, Blossom, Whisper, Emma, and you stay alive. No right, no wrong. Just do what ah have ta."He sighs and grabs an apple out of the fridge

"Ya can call it what ya want. Ah call it completin' a job and movin' on."

"I call it doing hard things for the ones you love. On the other hoof you could just be a rotten bastard who finds a perverse pleasure in killing," Clock hugs him, "But I like my version better."

Shadow sighs"Whatever helps ya sleep, Clock."He offers a weak smile

[Tytan]

"Don't need help sleeping, but I might need help cheering up my friend. Now what do I need to do to turn that scowl upside down?"
