"Really? Ah haven't seen many others down here, they Enclave too?"

"I don't think so. He struck me as being a country bumpkin. Either he was really good at playing dumb or he's from down here."

"Huh, didn't know there were any pegasi down here..."

"He was one of my weirder cases. I treated him for heavily centralized burns. Like someone held a giant blowtorch to random parts of his body."

"He wouldn't say. And it wasn't like a regular burn, each burn was the size of a little plate. And they were weird, completely black and they had a definite edge."

"That's odd, ah wonder what coulda done it?"

"Maybe some kinda torture, or bad surgical laser scares?"

"My best guess is energy weapons. But he insisted he got them in an accident. He wouldn't say what kind, just said a buddy gave them to him."

"Then it's probably some gang, owed'em some caps. Ah've seen stuff like that before, not burns though usually it's knife wounds or broken limbs."

"Well, the buck's lucky that he didn't get dusted."

"Great, just what we need. Bandits with lasers."

"What's scarier is that they probably don't know how ta use'em. They ain't like a regular firearm."

[Tytan]

"They aren't? How different can they be? Point it at something you want dead and fire."

"That's where yer wrong. They don't have iron sights, so ya gotta be real careful where ya aim. Not only that, but, they are a lot more maintenance, can't tell ya how many ah had ta fix when new recruits just had ta use the over charge cells..."

"I guess I never thought of it like that. Still, bandits that can disintegrate yah is a scary thought."

"Yes, it is. But it also makes'em an easier target."

"Yeah, not many bullets light up in the dark."

"Tracers do, it's kinda fun ta watch."

"Marshmallow, we know that, 'sides those are rare."

"Yer just too cute ya know that?"He kisses her."Anyways, ah don't think ah'd mind fightin'em. Laser don't do much when ya can come from just about anywhere."

"...Would a mirror stop a laser?"

Cherry shrugs"Maybe, depends on how powerful the laser is, one that comes outta a rifle probably not."
