"Well, they aren't the worst either. Anyways, thats an interesting set up you have there."

"Hmm? Oh ya mean, Clementine. Yeah ah made her myself, or well, ah made her better. Never did like all those beam weapons my comrades used."

"Nothing beats the crack of a real gunshot. Especially a long rifle."

"Ya know, ah tried ta explain ta a friend mine once. All she did was roll her eyes and continue walkin'. Ah swear those are just dense when it comes ta weapons."

"Beam weapons are harder to take care of, have less plentiful ammo, and it is easier to tell where a shot came from at night with them," he says, counting on the three extended fingers on his left hoof.

"Down here, it might be less plentiful. But Neighvarro's got more then enough, also got folks that know how ta recycle used batteries by the hundreds. But yeah, ya gotta point. 'Sides, them things would just hurt Shadow's eyes if ah did use one anyways."

Viktor considered charcoals points, "But gun not dust like flash gun."

"That is part of the point. You can see where a laser is coming from by watching it. A bullet, however, you cannot. Plus, I hear it is a lot harder to scavenge from atomized enemies than ones that are just missing their heads."

Cherry nods"He's gotta point Vik, but if ya ain't interested in lootin' then yeah, they work."She finishes fiddling with the scope and takes a look through"Woo Hoo! Sapphires worked!"She smiles

"Viktor think guns is complicate. Easy just smash." To illustrate his point he punches the ground and leaves a fist sized hole in the dirt.

"Well some of us, me in particular, are no good at up close combat. But what I lack in that I make up for in my ranged skills."

Cherry looks at Viktor"But don't hellhounds use guns? Ah'm sure there's some that ya could use if ya wanted ta."

Viktor is confused by her concern. He lifts up his arm and shows her some words engraved near the arm pit.

"Thank you nice flower pony." He takes the handful of gems. He takes a few of the sapphires and pops them into his mouth. The rest go into his pocket. "Mmm... Minty."

"No problem, sugar cube."She smiles then chuckles"Ah'm glad ya like'em."

"Is good. Gem packs is lots of types. When eat is like eat cereal with soda and meat not milk."

"Huh? That's quite interestin' actually. Ah never woulda thought of it like that before.."

"Why pony would? Not eat gems."

Cherry shakes her head"Don't mind me, Ah just start think about random things every once in awhile."

"Why flower pony interest in what Viktor think gem taste?"

She shrugs"Honestly, ah don't know, ah guess it's just kinda interestin' to find out gems have taste."
