Slowly wakes up. "Uh..oh!" Hugs Star tightly. "You're awake! I'm sorry..that necklace..I've tried to take it of from you and...it hurt you..sorry."
"Sure, ask."

[Tytan]

"It's fine. I think that was just a warning."
"I wanted to ask you... do you love me?"

[Katarn]

"What a silly question. Sure I love you!"

[Tytan]

"Why?"

[Katarn]

"It's hard to explain...When I first saw you, I fell in love with you. Yeah..maybe it's silly, but that's how it was. I fell comfortable with you, I want you to be happy." Gives a weak smile. "Sorry if that sounds cliché or silly. That's just how I feel."
"Star..may I ask you..do you love me?"

[Tytan]

"I think I do. I've never been in love before. I don't know what love feels like. But I like being near you. You make me happy. But some small part of me feels like I don't deserve to be happy."

[Katarn]

"Why is that?" Rogue remembers something. "You mean for what your uncle did? It wasn't your fault. Only his, don't be hard on yourself for that!"

[Tytan]

"I keep seeing their faces. Some of them were sad, a lot of them were angry. I just don't understand why. Why my uncle needed me to kill them. Was it just how he got his sick kicks?"

[Katarn]

Pulls star into hug. "We're figure that out and I promise, I'll make him pay for what he did to them..to you."

[Tytan]

"Thank you. I just need to figure out how to get back. I was told they could teleport me back, but I don't think I can take anyone with me."

[Katarn]

"First, we need to find what you were send here for, then, we'll think on how to get me there with you."
"Okay, change of topic. Did you ever wished for something? I mean, something big."

[Tytan]

"I... I'm not sure. I used to wish for silly things, like wishing to grow up to be just like mom, or wishing to be the best magician. What about you?"

[Katarn]

"Well...I wished to be like your grandma..okay, NOT like her, like princess Luna...or any other alicorn. You see, with my appearance, I've been teased alot, when I was filly, 'midget alicorn' was one of lest offensive." She looks back at her friends. "Not by them though..at least not any serious, mostly just like jokes." Shook her head. "Anyhow..I wanted to be...heh...taller. Most alicorns...well, they as tall as you...maybe little taller." Chuckle. "So yeah, as silly as it sounds, I wished for that."

[Tytan]

"I don't understand, you want to be like my grandmother, but not my like my grandmother?"

[Katarn]

"How do I put that...I want to be...taller." Gives a smile and rubs her head with hoof. "Silly wish, right?"

[Tytan]

"No no. I understand that. I don't understand why you do want to be like Princess Luna, but not Nightmare Moon."

[Katarn]

"Well...you see. I don't really know what your grandmother was like. But from history books and classes I know that she wanted to bring...something like eternal night to Equestria...or something like that...put it simple, something not really good. And teachers were telling us, that after she was 'cleansed' from..been Nightmare Moon, she become princess Luna...and from some records and what I've remember from lessons, she was really nice pony...well..until war happened and well..you know...So yeah...I wished to be like princess Luna..like she was before the war."

[Tytan]

"She was 'cleansed' and became Luna..." the dots connected in her head, "Oh no."

[Katarn]

"What? What's wrong? Was it something I said?"

[Tytan]

"No, it's nothing you said, well it kind of is, but not really... I think I understand now.

When Grandmother made my Mother, Aunts, and Uncles she used parts of her soul to bring them to life. When she did she put a part of something else in with it. I'm not sure what, maybe some sort of soul parasite, but it attached itself to their souls.

And when they had children it split itself off into them too. I think that's what Azure meant when she said Grandmother needed to go home for 'Reconvergence'. The soul parasite wants to put itself back together, and make a new Nightmare Moon."

[Katarn]

"Well, if she wants to get to princess Luna, I'm afraid...or glad...that won't happen. Princess Luna died more than 200 years ago."

[Tytan]

"She doesn't need Luna anymore. She's been feeding on our souls for over a thousand years, growing stronger."

[Katarn]

"So...it's bad...? I mean, yeah, from what I know from history, she's not a good pony..but didn't she protect you and help you?"

[Tytan]

"She's not all... that thing. Parts of her are still Lunas soul. How much of it is hers, I don't know."

[Katarn]

"Well...then we have one more thing to worry about." Gives Star reassuring smile. "Don't worry, we'll figure out something."

[Tytan]

Dark nuzzles Rogue, "I hope so."

[Katarn]

"That's a spirit!" Nuzzled Star back.

Also want to let ya'll know I'm gonna be sparse today. Despite what dad says I expect what we have to do to the cotton pickers to take up the entire day, and if we finish up early enough I'm heading out to get a new chair and probably seeing a movie.

And I'm going to say no to bag of totems, at least as far as how you explained it. I'm fine with rolling high leading to some useful totems, but none of the totems should be able o get them off the island, or even help, that's a bit too OP. ))
