Shayle carried Kenji into the infirmary and placed him on one of the beds before turning to the nearest medical pony. "He's been stabbed in the chest." She looked back to him sadly for a moment. "Please fix him," she said more hopefully than telling the pony to do so.

She stepped back outside to Rogue, her face hardening. "Care to explain why you followed us?"

"Maybe, maybe not. If you told, at least Felix, do you think any of this would happen? Do you know that when Izumi arrived at safehouse and said that you were asking him to come, he didn't hesitate a second? Which followed in Neon joining, Buckler, despite his wounded state joined to keep Felix safe, since he promised that to you."

"How did you even believe her?" Shayle asked. "If I actually wanted him to come, don't you think I would have told him that? If I wanted any of you to be pulled into this mess I would have told you, but I don't want that."
The zebra looked away from Rogue. "I want you all to stay safe, even if I'm not."
