Shayle's eyes went wide when she saw the group they were approaching. "No...nonono," she started to stammer, slowing her approach. What are they doing here? Why is Felix here?
Her gaze hardened, and her worry became rage.
She landed hard beside Kenji, glaring straight to Buckler as Kenji spoke.

...Shayle? What's going on here? *recoils a little from her glare*

[Katarn]

Nods in agreement with Buckler.

[Tytan]

*Whispers*"Hey, Buckler, who's she? And why does she look like she's going to shoot you?"

Azure chuckles"Wouldn't that be somethin'."

The radio crackles and a mare's voice can be heard

"Yes, who is it?"

"Director, it's, Azure, ya said ya had a job for me to do?"

".....Ah yes, now I remember. I need you to find any kind of medicinal flora to bring back to Equestria."

"Um, okay, but ya didn't need to tell me to do that ma'am, I was already planin' on doin' so."

"Good, now there's one more thing I need you to do."

"What is it, ma'am?"

"I need you to set up a Follower's outpost over there. Do you think you can do it?"

Azure looks surprised"I, um can I get a moment to think about that?"

"Of, course, just call back when you've made up your mind."

The radio clicks off

Azure looks at the group, still shocked"Well, y'all, what do ya think?"

*whispers back* That's Shayle...she's Felix's older sister...*looks down*...She...*shakes head*...it's a long story...

[Tytan]

"Hold on, Shayle? The Shayle I made the... things for."

Shayle didn't say anything, she didn't know what to say. She was pissed off, no arguing about it. She had told Buckler to protect Felix, not drag him to the center of a warzone!
"What are you doing here?" she asked viciously, her eyes never leaving Buckler as she waited for a reason that wouldn't make her even more angry.


Felix's heart stopped for a moment when he saw his sister land near them, but he was stopped from grinning by her demeanor. Why was she so angry? Shouldn't she have been happy to see them again?

[Tytan]

"I'm getting the vibe that this might be a bad time to give'm to her."

[Scyto Harmony]

He takes a step back, "Nonononono! Izumi, you're the Shinigami Traitor?"

"Who the fuck are you calling traitor, Kenji!?"

"The Empress has ordered your death, Izumi!"

She pauses, then sits down, "Oh..."

He looks at Shayle, a look of hurt and betrayal in his eyes, "What are they doing here, Shayle?"

"Sh-Shayle?" He says, nervously.

Shayle spun her gaze to Kenji. "You think I know? I didn't even tell them where I was going!" she hissed.

Whistles. "Traitor? I thought your mission wasn't important, when they left without you, but traitor? Didn't expect that."

Major facehooves "Oh no... What have I gotten myself into."

*looks up at Shayle* I-I...*looks aside*...Th-The shinigami...she knew where we were...she demanded Felix...she could've had the safehouse leveled if we didn't comply...I-I couldn't leave Felix to go by himself...neither could some of the others...we thought...if we were led to the palace, we could find you...I-I...w-we...*looks down*

"At least you are alive and not starved to death in woods." Looks at Shayle. "So I assume you didn't ask Empress to bring Felix to you?"

Risk looks at Azure and shrugs. "Um...I dunno, I guess we might be able to get 'round to it sooner or later."

[Guest]

*Turns to Azure.* Before we leave, I think it can wait for now.

[Tytan]

*Whispers mostly to himself* "I can't decide which would be worse. Executed or starving to death trying to eat pine cones."

Shayle stepped closer to Buckler, her teeth clenched. "When I said protect, I didn't mean follow him into a war you idiot!" she roared at him, her face inches from his.
She spun her head to Rogue. "Of course not, why would I do that?"

[Scyto Harmony]

Izumi sits there, dumbstruck. Occaisonally looking at the ground, then back up to Kenji, then to his sword, "Death Penalty?"

Kenji flinches at Shayle's hiss, "Sorry, but what do we do now?"

He looks at Izumi, "Yes but..."

She stands, walking towards him.

"Don't worry Izumi, once I tell fa- the Commander about this, I'm sure he'll understand."

She stops in front of him.

"I won't let anything happen to you, no matter what, because you're my--"

Quick as a flash, she draws her blade and plunges it into Kenji's chest, tears in her eyes.

"--sister..." He finishes, looking down at the blade. He crumbles into a bleeding heap.

"Run!" She screams at Rogue, ripping the sword from Kenji's chest and turning on Shayle.

Shayle spun, her training taking over as her teeth pulled the blade from its sheath.
