The posing pegasus pulled a bubbly laugh from Felix, nearly causing him to fall over as he closed his eyes and lost his balance.



Hearing a familiar laugh, Shayle turned her eyes briefly from the wasteland and back into New Hope. Her brother was standing outside Red and Sakura's place, laughing heartily as Neon posed strangely in front of him. Looks like they're having fun, she thought to herself, smiling at her brother's joy before noticing him almost fall over.

Clumsy little colt, she giggled to herself, deciding to see what the two were up to outside the home.


((School crush is just a term I use since he's still (or was) a student and had a crush on a filly around his age.

Neon giggles as Felix nearly falls over. "You're cute when you do that. Why doesn't a handsome Zebra like you have a marefriend, hmm?"

"Me? Oh...um...I..." Felix began to stammer, gaining no advanced speech skills from the shots he'd consumed back at the bar. "I just...I never thought to...ask anypony..." he finally replied, scratching at his legs nervously.

"Pssh." Neon wraps a arm around his shoulders, "You should, you're pretty cute."

"Oh," Felix murmured nervously. "T-thank you Neon." The colt slightly leaned into the embrace, a nervous smile over his lips.

Well Buckler the best thing to do is let her sleep it off, if you have the time of course. If your in a hurry, I hear a cold shower and some black coffee helps, but I don't know. Oh, and keep her off that contraption of yours, that'll have puking her guts out in no time. I think Rogue may have mentioned something about an alcohol cure, but I could be misremembering

Neon looks down at Felix and feels a warm sensation not related to the consumtion of Alcohol. He slowly leans in, pulling his face closer to Felix. "... Very Cute."

Feeling the pegasus lean into him more, Felix looked into Neon's eyes warmly, seeing a strange look he'd never seen from anyone before. It almost looked like how Shayle sometimes looked at him when he was sad or feeling down, but not quite as strong, and it had something else to it...

Whether it was due to alcohol or just not being sure what exactly to do Felix leaned in further, pressing his nose against Neon's, smiling at the warmth he felt.

The two seemed to be getting along pretty well in Shayle's eyes, joking and laughing with each other, even pulling each other close in a brotherly hug.

And then the two were rubbing noses, smiling warmly, and before Shayle knew what was going on, they were tongue wrestling! The zebra mare could have sworn she felt a bomb go off in her chest, and everything around her disappeared as she leaped from the tower, her eyes narrowed on the two colts and the revolver strapped to her shoulder started to feel very, VERY warm.



When his lips met with Neon's, Felix's heart stopped. He didn't expect for this to happen, and certainly never expected it from Neon of all ponies. The two had been friends sure, the pegasus was the first one aside from Nova that Felix had met when arriving at New Hope, but he didn't know the pony felt THIS way about him.

Still, that warmth he'd felt from rubbing noses was nothing compared to what he felt from kissing the pegasus. For his first time ever kissing anyone besides the occasional kiss on Shayle's cheek, it actually felt better than he'd thought it would. At first it seemed a bit strange, but after a few seconds the colt got used to it, and decided to try something he'd once heard others talking about; he worked his tongue into Neon's mouth, and the effect just seemed to multiply. Felix had never anticipated doing anything like this with another colt, but at that moment, he didn't want it to stop.
