Nova trots into town, letting out a sigh of relief that the long trip is over. He turns to Shayle and Felix.

"Okay, now you two don't go far. I'm going to go buy the house, you two can introduce yourself to the other kids..." He looks around and spots Neon walking around. "Go introduce yourself to that guy."

"Oh, hey Azure. I'm pretty sure she's--"
"Yeah, I'm here, give me a few minutes!"
"So...yesterday was quite a shocker, wasn't it? You okay?" He looks at Azure sympathetically.

"Yeah, it sure was somethin'. And I'm fine just...I'm fine."
She gives him a nervous smile

Felix looked around the town brightly as they followed behind the pony named Nova. It was a much nicer settlement than the one he had grown up in, and there were certainly a lot more ponies around as opposed to the zero he knew before leaving their home.

When the pony they had followed pointed them to go meet with a bright green pony while they waited, the colt smiled brightly and galloped off to introduce himself.

"Hi there!" he chirped once he was close to the pony, slowing to a walk.



The town certainly seemed to fit the name it was given, at least in Shayle's eyes. It seemed better maintained and much more secure with the guards roaming and sitting in towers around the outside, something that definitely helped calm her down. She still held some nervousness and skepticism about the town and the pony who had led them there, but it slowly deteriorated as she noticed that none of the ponies walking about were really dressed in raider-like armor or fighting each other randomly in the streets.

When her brother went running off to greet the other colt, Shayle smiled lightly as his joy and energy, following at a slow walk.

Neon is taken aback by the new addition, having never seen a Zebra before.

"O-Oh, hello. You must be new here." He holds out a hoof, "I'm Neon Light, but most people just call me Neo."

Rouge pulling doolie, with her captive on it. He's bounded and was gagged recently, since he talked too much.
"This trip back takes forever..."
"Then fly back, why are you walking in first place?"
"I'd love too" She flapped her wings "But I doubt I could transport him like that, he's heavy."
"Yeah, heavy."
"And you're not helping..put on some music at least..."
"Magic word"
Rogue facehoofed "...please..."

Rogue pulls her 'cargo' past Neon and zebra.
"Hi, Neon.." Keeps pulling, towards sheriff's office.
"Hi, Neon!" Kitt shouted through speakers.
'Cargo' just shoot angry looks at everyone.

*All is rather quiet in the town of New Hope. Suddenly, the silence is broken on the outskirts of the town by a mechanical whine, flying dust and pebbles, and a screaming filly. Shortly afterwards, a carriage pops up from behind a hill and screeches to a halt outside of a building. Buckler hops out of the driver's seat, followed by a shaken Midnite and Alex* Ha! How's that for record timing, dad?

*still trembling* I swear by the Lightbringer, I am never letting you drive again...you two just...do whatever...I'm going to go...whatever it was I came to do...*runs off, trying not to lose lunch*

*gives Buckler a glare* Seriously, you did not need to go that fast.

*shrugs and smugly grins* Hey, you both wanted to get here quickly.

*rolls eyes* Whatever. I'm going to go see how Azure is doing. *walks off towards Whisper's*

*Finishes breakfast* Say, Kura, go ahead and take the day off from helping in the clinic.
Y-you sure mom?
*Nods* Of course. We'll be fine, and I feel like you deserve a day off.

*Pulls Olive over* Yea, I guess I do. You ready?
*Nods enthusiastically*

*Walking through town, Kura spots Neon with two new zebras*
