If we don't open up relations now, than when?

We've sent out scouts. Because of the court, there will be a mass movement that will not go unnoticed. Heck, in the little time I've been here, I've made quite a spectacle. Many people out there now know that deer really do exist.

If we go back into hiding now because someone deemed that the wastes are not ready for us, than we'll be just like the Enclave, and, eventually, we'll become just as hated as them.

No, for better or for worse, the Deer must rejoin the world now in peace, or be forced back into it through way.

Ya know, I think we've been going about this wrong... I think it's not so much as to whether or not you should help, its how to help in a way that would be the most helpful. Going back into seclusion wouldn't help, but I don't think all the tribes putting everything they've got into helping at once would be the smartest way to go about it either. Some sort of structured way to build the deer a good reputation before we flood the Wastes with them, I think that might be what we want.

I never said the whole of our people would come out of our Valleys and spread out to completely change the wastes, that would be ridiculous.

I'm talking about things like having deer advisers for the NCR, opening up trade of goods through hubs like our future town, allowing access to the resources of our valley, etc. You know, things that won't change the way of life in the wasteland, just things that will help make life easier.

And I'm also not talking about integrating deer into your society, I'm talking about opening relations between two completely separate nations.

*Nods* See, that's where we ourselves were having the problem. We were thinking two completely different things. We're probably going to have to keep that in mind during this whole thing.
