My bet is it's just summer and you've got nothing to do other than stay at home and sleep. If that is the case, I'd recommend setting an alarm for about 9:00 am and getting out of the house for at least an hour a day and finding a hobby to keep your brain active.))

Well, the blacktails are hardly my friends, but all she told me was the court was happening in two weeks in Moose Territory, that's it. What else would you like to know?

Well, where to start?

The Blacktails and the brother tribe, The Mule Deer, have been rivals of the Whitetails for countless generations. There are multiple accounts, and many of the contradict each other in one way or another, but the most popular tales involve a member of the whitetails beating a member of the blacktails in a competition for the blessings of a forgotten spirit.

Other than that, it just may be due to the fact that the blacktails are quite confrontational and prefer to settle matters with combat than with words.

But don't think them true enemies, if facing a common threat, they will join with the whitetails and the rest of the tribes to confront it.


As for knowledge of the Moose Territories, well, there are really only four things you need to know. First, when entering the territory, you must go in on foot. Secondly, you must not get separated from me until we enter their village, for the forests that surround the village are home to spirits who prey on all who are not deer or guided by a deer. The third thing you need to know is that the Moose themselves are quite peaceful and welcoming to outsiders. Finally, although they may be peaceful do not anger the moose, for it will be the last thing you do in this life.

Well we shouldn't have a problem with the rest of the whitetails, I've already told you about the Moose, So that leaves the Elk, The Blacktails and Mule Deer, and the Pudu tribe.

The elk are proud warriors, but their magic is quite weak compared to that of the other tribes. That being said, if one of them challenges you to a Qui Per Ra, don't accept. It is a challenge to hoof to hoof combat in which magic is not allowed and is only meant to be between two deer, nondeer have no obligation to accept.

The Blacktail and the Mule deer tribes, more or less, are the same. They are a bit more aggressive than whitetails, and shouldn't be antagonized. In fact, it would be best if we avoided speaking with them unless necessary, they still hold a prejudice against ponies and zebras for causing the end of the world, although they won't do anything against you in the presence of the other tribes.

And finally, their are the Pudus. They are truly nonviolent and innocent and are the closest to the spirits. To antagonize them in any way is to bring the full wrath of all the other tribes upon yourself. Even I will not hesitate to cut you down if you were to harm one of them.

Also, don't gush and d'aww over them when you first see them. I know that their size and physique makes them look quite adorable, but they find it quite annoying and will only put up with it for a moment before they punish you in some way. Usually in a form similar to the totem used to turn Crys pink for three days.

Other than that, just be as respectful as you can. Is there anything else you'd like to know?

You said the Mule and Black tail tribes wouldn't do anything in front of the others, do you think they'll try anything sneaky?

Don't worry, we'll set up in the Whitetails' camp, they wouldn't dare come near their. In fact, the only time you should even see them is during the actual court.

Is it safe for us to wear these while we're at the tribal court?

Oh of course, it is not considered taboo for outsiders to wear them.

That's good to know, I'm referring to there tracking ability. Our group does have a problem with wandering, hate to have them walk off and get stabbed for their trouble.
