Love of booze in the wastes is completely normal. Only someone completely crazy wouldn't want to dull the pain. If your subconscious was trying to send you a message, it'd have you popping mintals, or shooting up psycho.

Without waiting for a reply he closes his eyes and silently chants "This is why I don't drink" till he properly falls asleep.

((And with that. I'm callin' it a night. Character has his 10 MM pistol, rifle, and battle saddle with the assault rifles on it. If the plot moves before I get back I vote for a trip to a market before we leave for ammo and supplies. Ya'll take care!))

*Mav walks into bar. There are few visitors every single one is griffin, so everyone turn their attention to newcomer. Maverick ignores that everyone in bar glares at him and just walks to bartender. Bartender is old griffin with scar across his left eye.*

No, not really. But I just know that look on your face. It's look of person, who accusing himself over something. I'm night shift bartender here for the same amount of time, this city exist. And let me tell you, it's really rare, when someone visit this bar at night, without regrets in their heart.
It's ugly world outside, I don't think there exist someone, without regrets in heart.
*chuckle* True. But I almost could read you, from your looks. You mad at yourself, because of you have suffered others, who didn't have to suffer and all which you now want - is to get drunk yourself to death and forget everything that happened. Well, let me tell you, there is no amount of booze in whole wasteland to make you forget something like that. *Points with his sharp talon at lone griffin at table* See her? It's Jina Talonsharp. She coming here, in this bar, at night for last six years and drink herself to state, when I need to call guards to haul her to her home. She lost her husband and both kids, while fulfilling the contract. It's been honourable death and contract was fulfilled, but she in this state since than.

*Gives long look at Maverick* I see same pain in your eyes, kid. Maybe even you don't realise yet, but if you couldn't move on with that pain, you'll be just another miserable drunk. Eventually you can end up in hurting someone you care for or, at least, who cares for you.

*laughs and facepalms in same time* I know the song and my shift almost over. *Pours himself whiskey in large glass*

*Wakes up in own room* Uggghhhh...How the hell did I get here? Where is here? *Reaches for shortsword, begins picking between teeth with it* Am I dead?

Aahhh... My everything hurts... What happened last night?

*Grabs gear, puts armour on* I need to paint this sometime. *Begins walking downstairs, falls down the stairs instead* That's one way to get around.

Euuhhh .. *Pokes head out his door* Stop yelling, I'm hung over enough already!

*Blows raspberry at Aonee, whilst still on the floor at the bottom of the stairs* *Whispers* Sorry, sorry. Oh, hey floor. You look real comfy right now. *Falls asleep on the floor*

He wakes up as the sound of Flame both falling down stairs and yelling. There's a consent throb a pain in his head that's only aggravated by loud noises.
"Oh Goddesses... keep it down ya'll..."
He opens his eyes revealing they're not pointing in the same direction. Shaking his head to get them back to normal only elects moans of pain.
"Bathroom.... now..."

*carefully gets up and walks into the hallway and goes to Aon and Crys's room*
*yells*Mornin' everyone I trust y'all slept well!

Last night was great! These griffins sure know how to drink and how to sing!
*smashes his hooves together* I'm full of energy and want to do something!

*slowly wakes up as sun rises, gets up, yawns, scratching back of of neck*

Hmm...all things considered, this is a relatively peaceful morn-*interrupted by the sound of somepony tumbling down a flight of stairs, followed by shouting*
...-ing...*sigh* I guess everyone's back from the bar. *gets out of bed*

The noise hit his head like a hellhound swinging two sledgehammers into his skull.
"By the Goddess if the two of you don't stop that I'm taking a shotgun, ramming it up your arse, pulling the trigger, and using what's left as a puppet! If the hangover wasn't bad enough my piss is glowing!"
He goes to sink and puts his head under the running water to try to dull the pain.

*Wakes up from the shouting* Oh, we're still alive. Why are you two in such a good mood?

*Jumping around on his hooves* Oh-oh, you guys, have hangover?! I can help! My Wake the Dead Special! It's absolutely AWESOME! I've used it on me..well technically some griffin poured it down my throat, while other held me with his claws, cuz, you know, I bet one of them. Actually both, that they couldn't drink this, without drinking water. And I won! And then we run around city, they wanted to drop me from highest point of town, but I told them, that I've already died once and that I've fall from more than 6000 ft and survived. Didn't tell them detail, no need to know. But anyway! It's good. Based on tequila, coffee, spiciest paper you ever find and other important stuff! You'll be fine!

He pulls his head from under the water and looks at Guard.
"Even if I wasn't sure that you're joking, I'd refuse it anyways. This is why I don't drink after all."
He sticks his head under the water for a few more minutes, not sure if it's soothing or just keeping the pain at a bearable level.

HEY! That's right! Kage gave us that damned suicide mission! Why are we sitting around here!? We should be prepping for it. I'm off shopping. Anyone else coming?

Flame we're not goin' anywhere until Scyto is better. So just relax catch some extra sleep we can go shopping later. Oh I can fix that hangover if you want.

Not much, Scyto is bedridden for a day or two and*sighs* has a little brain damage, mostly my fault, if your not hungover just grab some extra sleep till everyone is up. I'm gonna lay back down I need a hug from a certain gryphon right about now.

Extra sleep? Eh..wish I could. Generally, if my body wakes itself on it's own accord, that's it. Besides, with the ruckus going on right now, I doubt I could get back to sleep anyways.
