Now, they've got a real hard shell, so you're gonna have to aim for the head. Don't let them get you with their pincers, and if you see one that looks like one of those mythical humans, run. They've got some sort of sonar blast thingy that will knock you for a loop.

Practice on moving targets is much better, then shooting at bottles. Unless bottles decide to revolt and attack us.

So, Flame. We're up to some...bastards, with thick hide and who can shoot sonic beams at us...it would be hell of a fun!

((Have you guys ever fought a mirelurk in FO3. Literally, their only weak spot is their face, you have to shoot them straight on because the back and sides are protected by their shells. Plus they rush at a ridiculous speed which is on the completely opposite end of the spectrum from their slow moving crustacean ancestors, so you damn well better make sure you actually hit their face on the first shot. Oh, and it's only the Mirelurk kings who have the sonic ability.))

*Loads his carbine with Hollow Point rounds*
Aim to the head..heh, this little bastards should blow their head away.
*Stands on his hind legs, assisting little with magic. Catches head of creature in his sights. Head of creature looks like fish to him.
Steady...steady...
*exhales and shoot*
*Bullet, instead of head, hits creature's neck, completely tearing it. Creature falls and pool of blood starts to gather up under him*

((Against mirelurks, unless I have a high chance to hit the face, I always go for the legs or arms. It does pretty good damage and is more reliable than the face at longer range))

((I use sawed-off in center of mass or large amount from CR in same spot. Aiming in head isn't fun. And I always keep Boone with me for that. Now afk for ~20 minutes))

Am I the only one who questions most of the relationships in the Wasteland? Almost every couple in FoE fics [that I've read anyways] have known each other usually for less than a week before there screwing each other. Am I the only one who's noticed this?))

((No I have as well, but then I just chalk it up to one it's the wasteland and they could very well die the next day. and two weirder things happen IRL. @Scyto: I can think of quite a few people that wouldn't share that sentiment.))

((I think in most FoE fics, people seem to write relationships for the sake of having it in there 'cause the main fic and popular ones [PH etc] have them, and then proceed to rush them and what may have been reasonably good, turn out crappy. It bugs me greatly. 'Relationships' these days end up going
1: Go to some club/party/social event
2: Proceed to get heavily drunk/high
3: Get sex
4: Go to step one))
