Mustang finished shoving the leg-cannon into his pack on the side of his bike and looked back at Gizmo.

"No need for that now Gizmo. Jessie here is a NG-300 Speedster Hovercycle: She can hold two people at once and continue to fly without any problems. And don't worry, I'll turn down the speed so that you can keep up."

He looked at Eisen.

"You can ride right behind me as long as you don't mind some of my shenanigans and a bit of crazy flying. And as long as you don't mind gaining some altitude now and then."

Spike stirred from his sleep and looked over to where the others had been the night before. 'CRAP! I fell asleep, and now they're still here.'

He watched as one of them through a bunch of food bits into a tree cluster and started drooling, 'that looks tasty...I want it'

He slowly began to decend from the trees as he activated his chameleon scales, and slowly disappeared.

Eisen looked up at the power armor that Gizmo was in. He shifted his gaze to Mustang as his hovercycle.

He turned towards Gizmo. "No offence," he said, "but I think II'll take up Mustang's offer. I'm less likely to be stepped on if I fall off and survive."

Mustang took a step back from his bike and gave a full wound up kick to the Rocket Engine, releasing a small amount of energy into the bike (1 PPE). Jessie roared to a start and lifted an inch or so off the ground in preparation for flight. He carefully stored Phillip in a small armored case and mounted the bike. He looked back and forth for a few moments then looked over at the rest of the group.

"This may sound a bit stupid, but I have no idea where the hell we are going."

Gizmo looked their group over and shrugged.

"I guess we'll leave him behind. Sucks to be him."

He walked next to the vehicle where Mustang and Eisen were getting ready.

"I'll lead the way. I believe I remember the area around here had a nearby town."

He took off sprinting at 150 MPH.

Mustang laughed and grabbed Eisen by his shirt, dragging him onto the back of his bike.

"He's beating us! I refuse to stand by and let Jessie be beaten by some random stranger!"

He jumped on, pulling his goggles over his eyes and spun throttle as far as it would go, instantly accelerating to 200 MPH, closing the distance between the bike and the armor.

Mustang pulled up next to Gizmo, catching his words over Jessie's engines.

"That may be, but I won't be sticking round any town for long unless you two prove amusing or profitable."

(I don't think its a coincidence that the Gilda on my screen said "I know what your up to" as I read that deal).

Mustang frowned.

"60/40? On what? We haven't even found anything worth trading anywhere, and I'm sure as hell not putting any money I make off my own skills in this town into the pot for you to take from."

As Mustang and Gizmo were discussing a deal, Eisen was thinking about how he could get a cut of their profits.

"What about me?," he shouted over the roar of the engines, "One of you may easily get hurt, be it something small or large. With me around, you won't have to pay quite as much if you went to a clinic."

Gizmo looked at Eisen.

"Are you coming along further than the next town too then? Then you'll get 30% I'll get 40%, and you, Mustang, you'll get the last 30%."

Mustang started to weave the bike back and forth, accelerating and decelerating, flying circles around Gizmo.

"I just don't see how you deserve more credits than the rest of us. I don't know if I could buy many diamonds and bubblegum with 30%. Those and paperclips. Big ones."

As Mustang weaved, Eisen grew nauseous.

"Excuse me," he said to Mustang, "Do you mind not doing that unless absolutely necessary. I'm afraid I might lose my lunch if this continues."

"As for the money," he continued with the conversation, once again raising his voice so that both Gizmo and Mustang could hear, "I'm ok with 30%. But know this, any...repairs...I have to make on your bodies is not included in that percentage."

"Maybe because with my suits I'd be doing the harder work? Give me a good reason why I should get the same amount as you."

Mustang stopped the weaving and started to contemplate flying upside down, or maybe some more complex flight tricks that might remove one's stomach contents with force.

"Name one other mechanic that can make a bomb out of bubble gum a jewel and a tin can - One that can be detonated multiple times. And no one makes better toast than Phillip, and he stays with me."

"Well, with a bit o' magical amplification, I'm sure I could get even Mr. Whimpy Doctor here to lift that much. I even got an enchantment on my armor right now - It's just impractical to keep on all the time, and its uncomfortable to wear. Besides - These pilot clothes are more comfortable."

"At 2.5 miles a minute? Let me do some math."

He mumbled some math next over the course of a
few seconds.

"2.5 equals 1. A fifth of 2.5 is .5. A fifth of 1 is .2. Therefore, 3 is 1.2. 60 times 2 divided by 10 is 120 divided by 10 is 12. 60 plus 12 is 72."

He spoke again to Mustang.

"A bit less than 72 seconds. We're a bit less then 3 miles away."

(Spit needs to give us the town info and such.)

(I wrote out a long explanation and list of several objects and situations that the above math and numbers could represent, then I just said fuck it and erased it, thought about it for a moment, and somehow it makes sense all of a sudden.)

(The math represents the miles and distance. 3 miles at 2.5 miles a minute takes 72 seconds. I split my math problems into junctions that really only make sense how it works to me at first. It's not hard to understand really. He does the same thing.)
