All of this judging and being dismissive of the sentient animals' efforts and performances, leading up to having them race through a canyon full of dangerous monsters. They weren't suited for that and did their best just to survive and get through as fast as they could,

The turtle was well below where those monsters were and not in danger of being eaten when he came across the grounded Rainbow Dash.

The others were required to fly through the gauntlet.

Like you said all the other pets were able to fly through the course. That means they can move in three dimensions. They were just as capable of taking the low safe path as the turtle.

You could argue that would have been slower and would have cost them the race, but winning doesn't mean anything if you don't survive to enjoy the prize.

You say they're sentient enough to understand RD criticizing them, then I think they're fully capable of understanding the dangers. No one's using them, these aren't handicapped animals that aren't able to fend for themselves and so need someone to feed them. If the show is any indicator some of them even seem to have human levels of intelligence. And if humans were running the race and chose to put themselves in danger they would run the risk of recieving a Darwin award if they perished.

I would feel no worse for them then someone who perished running the Iditarod.

Each and everyone of them would have been fine if RD decided she didn't want any of them. I can safely say that because each one got through the gauntlet alive. Which is probably a lot harder than hunting down a mouse or a mouthful of mosquitoes in the bat's case.

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if the animals are smart enough that they're using FS. Maybe all the wild animals decided they were sick of hunting and wanted the easy life Angel has.

I don't get your point. Are you saying birds of prey can only fly high off the ground? Because that's wrong. In fact in order to survive they must fly close to the ground when not hunting other birds because that's where their food lives.

They have to obey? Because as we've seen with Angel that's certainly wrong. (That was also true of the cockatriece and the fruitbats (Initially). While the cokatriece did listen to her it was only when she used the stare. Which she didn't use in this episode so that's irrelevant.) They choose to listen to her. In this situation they have a reason to. RD will adopt them and then they don't have to feed themselves.

As far as the cows and pigs go. The pigs are animals as we know them in every scene we've seen them in. Which was one to my memory when they bowled over AB. Honestly I don't remember to well I'll admit you have point there simply because I don't remember.

And we saw a cow getting her nails or hair done. Anyway to me signified they have a degree of freedom. Also there was the stampede thing that AJ had to deal with, which could mean that these cows in particular are in protective custody. I think that's reasonable, given that they did seem to be a threat to at least ponyville if they got spooked.

I don't know. Greninja just seems like such a strange choice, they just added little mac and he seems to fill the small fast fighter quota pretty well.

And Shiek already exists as a sorta ninja.

If they were going to choose one of three I wish they would have chosen Chestnaught. Maybe he'd a bit too much like Bowser. But how many heavy guys do they have? I think it's just Bowser and King Dedede.

Z-suit samus: I honestly don't think the boot are any worse than the rest of the suit. And at least they gave a reason for them. I mean the suit really just is to get the power armored woman into form fitting attire right?

Yeah, they seem like a strange choice tbh... I mean, could have used some other pokemans and/or legendary. Heh... include Shedninja, they'd totally be balanced. Like, it can only be hit by recovery moves or something xD Ah man... Sableye would've been awesome xD But if it'd have to be a new gen... maybe Aeigislash? xP Gotta be some more bulky, new large  pokeman.

And yeah, Gren seems to go more full out ninja though. find Sheik's replacement thing rather lame though. And hm... well, we got Ganon too kinda. As well as Charizard. And don't forget Kong. He's the original fatty xP

As for samus: She has Gummy damned high heels... WHY would she have something that blatantly made her worse? It's just a stupid "durr, this is hot" design choice. It wouldn't even FIT inside her regular suit.

@EP: We all know my amazing memory, but just to check: Whom here was it that like, sometime last year offered to proofread my Twilight gloryhole fic? As I'm kinda contemplating just posting it before I forget again. With the current flash and all, I just want to have my things wrapped up.
