Only two of these titles ring a bell with me (Ghostbusters and Groundhog Day). Never heard of those other movies until now.

Really? I have a hard time trying to position my fingers so that they don't mute strings. Easiest (incorrect) way of playing it for me is to lay the guitar flat and play that way. *shrugs* Worked for me when I was trying out Guitar Hero.

Yeah, tried that against Robo... Doesn't work so well against human players. Cost me the match.

Eh for human players I tend to use all damaging moves because of the possible negation moves. Psychic x3.

Also, There's actually other things in Pokemon besides straight up battles now, right? Do those apply to multiplayer?

There's one co-op mode. Unfortunately nintendo or gamefreak is stubborn about co-op, so just like black and white it's local only.

Oh contests. Those were kinda phased out after the third series games. As for how they worked they worked significantly different from battles, you had I believe five contestants and everything mattered from your position to the move you used.

Moves were split into four catergories if I remember right... Smart, Cool, Tough, and Beauty. Like the moves contest were split into the same groups. Of course Smart moves were better for Smart contests.

And you couldn't just spam move, if judges saw the same move twice they'd get bored of it and give you a lower score. So for instance if the person that went first used surf they might get a four star ranking, but if you did the same thing you'd get a two star.

They weren't bad. Or at least I didn't think they were, but they were different. A pokemon good for fighting might not be good at contests. So, I think most people would prefer to make they're pokemon good at fighting over contests. From what I can tell they weren't popular enough for gamefreak to want to bring them back. Never tried playing them against a friend, so I don't know if you could or not.

There was a pokeathalon thing later, but again I think it was unpopular.

Yeah, that did exist... It was essentially just a rythm game where you got to dress up your pokemon.

Mine started off pretty average, but I think I dropped some good information for people during workshops, and I got to hang out with my SO after our class for a few hours, which was nice because we hadn't really seen each other much over the weekend/Monday. So, yes, ultimately a very good day. Made me happy. Sorry to hear stuff's breaking down on your end, Swicked, especially when it sounds like it'd be exactly the wrong time for that.
