Per recommendations, watched the first episode of Helix.

I just got back from the store.
The door to my car was frozen shut.
My tires were coated in a layer of ice that broke off slowly while I drove.
In the 30 seconds it took my to walk from my car to the store, the snot in my nose all froze.
In the 2 minutes it took me to get what I needed and make it back to my car, the condensation inside of my windshield had managed to freeze solid.
I spent 5 minutes with my car in park and my foot on the gas before the heater finally stopped spitting out freezing cold air.


Fuck this day.

On episode five of Helix. I recommend it. It's not scary, but it's quite entertaining. It's a constant curveball show, so if you're okay with the rug being pulled out a lot and not entirely knowing what's going on, you'll enjoy yourself. My only gripe is that the cinematography/editing is sometimes not so good - I occasionally notice rapid-fire cuts in the middle of monologues (like, once a second; every time a character pauses the shot changes) and it sometimes cuts down on the tension of scenes that would have been better served with long, drawn-out shots. I've only noticed it happening 3 or 4 times in 5 episodes, though. I'm having a good time watching it.
