[Also I was expecting a fight and was taking the idea of a insurrection from star trek how one episode a alien worm had a insurrection by trying to take over star fleet's highest ranking officers. The borg were originally supposed to be this idea of a alien race taking control of governments, but they scrapped the original idea for the borg. I think the reason they gave was that the original idea was far too dark for the show. The borg would have been a million times more terrifying if they went with the original idea. That was also from starship troopers two where the plot was that people infected with a alien bug would willingly switch sides. That idea was a bit more fleshed out cause instead of taking over the host the person would receive a massive pleasure response every time they did something the aliens wanted and bit by bit let themselves willingly be brainwashed. Like there was one person in the movie who was infected and they were more interested in infecting the other person than the fact they were having sex level of high from being brainwashed

Actions :
- The Republic put into place a secret office tasked to keep track of any and all potential menaces to the security and integrity of The Republic, to advise the government on the best possible ways to counter these threats, and if necessary to neutralize them. Its composition will be a mix between the Academy, the Police Forces, the Armed Forces, and Public Servants or any freelancer whose competency may become needed. The structure officially appear on The Republic's budget as "Office of Inter-Services Affairs", its public facade being of treating matters at the intersection of the various Republic's services competences.

Economic condition:
The economy has recovered from the paranoia as trade resumes and it's chalked up to a report of three unknown intruders being caught by police forces, however with their deaths and executions it is brushed under the rug as a closed serial killer case.
Action:
Phoenixia reopens it's borders, however it keeps the prison reform it passed as it helped reduce the number of inmates. Also the undercover military police force reduces a fair chunk of it's operations, however keeps a modest amount as while it didn't catch any of the suspects it did help catch a large number of criminals in city slums. We also reassure the populace by issuing the statement by saying that the mp missions aren't everywhere and that they are on duty in high crime areas to catch criminals, what we don't tell them is that the current number of undercover missions isn't even close to the number of missions during the crisis.
Also Phoenixia uses the telegraph combined with the steam engine to not only ship trade faster, but uses the telegraph to communicate with our colonies.

Phoenixia immediately offers the republic trade their coal and iron for the new steel. Also Phoenixia expands mining into their two colonies since their homeland has been mined to the point the cost of materials mined is not worth it anymore in a effort to prevent a potential recession.

While the envoy's purpose on paper and in public's eye was to secure trade, a deal was struck with several of the business owners to send their engineers in their place to look at the bessemer process and come back to recreate it. As the republic has never seen the business owners in person they do not know what they actually look like

- In this case it would be best to have the deal with businesses that are reliant on foreign trade, cause if you make the deal with them behind closed doors then they get to dominate the national metal industry. So like companies reliant on foreign trade to make steam engines, guns and such. If they send one of their engineers in their place then they get to put their competitors out of business, and if the engineers get caught Phoenixia can deny the claims of espionage as just corporate espionage.
Basically plausible deniability cause if the engineers are caught they don't know it's governmental espionage and know their bosses ordered it.

Realizing the importance of the new steam locomotive Phoenixia shows off a proof of concept trackless steam carriage to the world and the companies begin to trade portions of their ownership internationally. While it will be several decades until this machine becomes possible to be actually used[bit of history, there was investment when cars were first made to make a steam car, but it never went anywhere cause if the cooling pipes were damaged it would explode and kill everyone inside thus cars won't come about in the game until the internal combustion engine], it does give the world a look into the future and a chance for massive returns on individuals who buy a part of the mass transportation company.
[Also Plasticcube wants to join, what areas does everyone control so plastic doesn't accidentally chose somewhere already occupied. Let him make a country and such.

You find the source of pirates in international water. If you take them out you'll have sunk almost all pirates on the ocean, however you have to act quickly before they realize you're on to them and if you let any escape it will bite you in the ass. They will not go down easy either.

OOC: Scyto rolled a 2, you rolled a three. A three is moderate trouble, a 2 is a severe trouble, a 1 is like draconequus and stuff

- After a quick succession of telegraphic exchanges, The Office, the Republic's Navy, and the Flyer Elite Forces are scrambled to take a quick action against the pirate forces discovered in G4.
Battle plan :
Order of Battle
- The Office will use its on-site personnel and assets to keep track of the pirates' movements, and will forward the intelligence gathered to Navy elements involved in the operation (communication ensured by specialist trained unicorns acting as relays)
- Flyer Elite Forces : 1,000 flyers
- Republican Navy (scrambled from the neighboring territories of F3 and G3). Assuming command of the operation.
Mission Briefing :
The Flyers will take-off from the Navy's ships, who will stay at 1.5 times the distance beyond the horizon. Taking advantage from the cover of the night, they will stealthily approach the pirate fleet a few hours before sunset, and install remotely detonated (with a magic switch) explosives in strategic emplacements of the ships' outer hulls, below the waterline. They get close, they dive, install the explosives, they get out. If they are caught, orders are to neutralize the threat and escape.
While the Flyers were out accomplishing their missions, the Navy Fleet will have maneuvered 1.1 times beyond the horizon, positioning itself to take the Pirate Fleet from the front and from the flanks, in a Pincer maneuver.
Before sunrise, the Navy Fleet will begin its approach toward the Pirate Fleet, with the goal to be in position to attack exactly at sunrise. They will attack from the East, the sun behind them.
At Sunrise, the explosives will be detonated simultaneously, at the same time the Navy Fleet will start the attack, hopefully profiting from the element of surprise, the enemy's confusion, and the fact the Pirates will have the sun in their eyes trying to look at them.
The Flyers will participate in the attack by flying in formation to drop explosive bomblets on the enemy ships' decks, disorganizing their defenses.

While the Flyers were out accomplishing their missions, the Navy Fleet will have maneuvered 1.1 times beyond the horizon, positioning itself to take the Pirate Fleet from the front and from the flanks, in a Pincer maneuver.
Before sunrise, the Navy Fleet will begin its approach toward the Pirate Fleet, with the goal to be in position to attack exactly at sunrise. They will attack from the East, the sun behind them.
At Sunrise, the explosives will be detonated simultaneously, at the same time the Navy Fleet will start the attack, hopefully profiting from the element of surprise, the enemy's confusion, and the fact the Pirates will have the sun in their eyes trying to look at them.
The Flyers will participate in the attack by flying in formation to drop explosive bomblets on the enemy ships' decks, disorganizing their defenses.

The surprise attack is mostly successful and catches the pirates completely off guard and you completely destroy their homebase. However checking the number of boats at port you realize 40% of the pirate ships are out on runs and they're not going to be happy when they find out.
