Actions :

- The Republic, through various state-owned companies, start sending traders to the eight neighboring territories. Mission focus : establishing economic ties with these territories.


Fluff :

- Unicorn students arrive at R'Shalok universities to study magic. Culture-shock of seeing a unicorn-dominated society (at the very least demographically). Professors start exchanging knowledge about mechanization of the Textile Industry. Students and Professors are unsure what to think about the forced labour system.

Action:
Phoenixia continues focusing internally instead of externally, and defense force hunkers down even more.  Also signing of anti-race discrimination has passed.  All sapient creators in Phoenixia are now officially treated equally under the law and now is working towards using each species' unique attribute towards the country.

- The requests of Starfall University, the Dominion's premiere (and to many extents, sole) educational institution and a longtime source of dissent, to have their most promising students visit the Academy have been approved by the Directory as long as they follow strict regulations. It is up to the Republic's leadership to deny or accept their request.

For E7:
9, 1 and a 2 which averages to a 4.
You don't find enough to justify the costs moving into the area and as result you lost more money than you gain.

For G7:
8, 8, 1 which average to 5 and 2/3.  You find enough to justify the costs of claiming the area, but not enough for further conquests.

- The Dominion temporarily halts its expansion. Settlement begins in the new province of Siebentania, while Heptania unexpectedly fails to produce the massive resources promised by experts. Septania continues to cement its place within the Dominion's hegemony.

- Due to the University's tense and often insolent relationship with the Directory, the students adapt well to the more relaxed environment of the Republic, though their habit of flinching whenever they see a police officer baffles other students. The unicorns among them encounter many new fields of magical study and excitedly plan to improve the University's arcane science facilities.

- With the advent of mechanization, and trade opening with more developed lands, The Republic recognize that there is a need for a more skilled workforce. Children are now required to go to school four days a week instead of the previous three days a week, and all children are now required to attend school from their 5th to 15th anniversary (previously from their 6th to the 12th anniversary). Gymnasium, institute of learning for the children beyond fifteen wishing to pursue higher education, are opened in the major cities.

[P.s. if you do some exploring or conquering and do roll 1, 2, or 3 it will be more than just "you didn't earn enough money", cause if you roll that low there has to be a negative outcome of it.  The reason being is if you constantly expand then you're going to be the one who wins the game, but if you roll a 1 and you run into windegoes or such then that gives players a reason to be cautious instead of expanding forever]

Technological advancement:
The steam engine: Though it does not have a use yet, optimists are without a doubt excited about this invention and believe it will usher in a new era for civilization.


Economic condition:
Stable due to trade.  However there is a deficit in metals and other resources causing a spike in costs.

- The Dominion begins research into potential uses for the new technology. Improved airship designs, more efficient factories, and even a prototype steam-powered hydraulic cannon are quickly rushed into service. 
- Similarly, returning students from the Academy introduce new fields of study to the University, accelerating Dominion scientific knowledge tenfold. However, they also introduce several of the Republic's ideals to some members of the populace. Riot police forcibly put down the ensuing protests, but some of the discontent remains. This may be trouble.
- In order to fuel these new industries, more of the outer mountains are mined. Excess metal is now being offered to the other nations. Also, experiments in new metals and alloys are currently being performed with the metal. They have been unproductive.
[in order to comply with the new rule]
- In the barren bogs of Heptania, many of the colonists contract a new plague, halting attempts to adapt the native zap apples into an edible form. At least for now, agricultural ambitions have ceased.

The cotton gin and interchangeable parts for muskets have been made.

Economic conditions:
Slump.  The new advancements have left businesses with a dire need for metals and such.  Metal costs have begun to higher than seem in decades.  The economic boom has ended and we are now facing a recession.


Actions:
Phoenixia is now exporting more metals in order to help stabilize the international economy, before the cost of raw metals spirals out of control.  Phoenixia also has now added a department of mass transit and begun to spend money on bettering mass transportation.

- The Dominion sees both yet another advance in technology, with the modular musket [is it breach-loading?] quickly being adapted.
- However, this coincides with a decline in mining as several of the mines run dry. Due to its reliance on foreign trade, the Dominion is vulnerable to this new turn. It hunkers down and prepares for a long winter
- The Dominion also finally manages to stamp out the pirates which infested the trading lanes. When every resource is precious, they could no longer afford to allow it to end up on the black market.

Actions :

- The eight territories neighboring (F2) now having their economy closely tied to that of The Republic (and the reverse being true), The Republic officially claim these territories as its own. To calm possible troubles, a comfortable autonomy is offered to these territories on a number of issues.
- The Republic concentrate its efforts in linking together all its territories, to ease trade and, if necessary, the movement of troops. The recent invention of Steamer Boat is exploited, a fleet of them starting to be built, in wooden hulls.
- With the introduction of the steam engine, there is now a need for an alternative fuel source to wood. The earth ponies can only regrow forests that fast. The Academy is asked to start research into the matter.
- With the rising prices of mineral resources, and the Dominion clamping down on exports, The Republic, through several state-owned companies, start putting in place the infrastructure to exploit the mineral wealth of its territories.


Events :

- A private entrepreneur from The Republic gets the idea of steam driven land-carriages. However, they require too much fuel to be economical yet. Still, he puts his research on small steam engines to use and sell it to small businesses wishing to have access to small steam engines. [The Republic may now export small steam engines]
- Advances are made in the textile industry with the discovery of new technologies. Efficiency increase.

The Dominion continues its halt on trade, staving off collapse with mining operations in the territories and further into the range. It maintains a level of scientific advancement at about the same rate as its neighbors.

[Let's say winter is coming and people when they log off they say their country can hunker down for the winter]

Phoenixia explores and establishes a agricultural colony in D3 and C4

Roll for D3:
4, 8, 2
average of 4.66

Roll for C4:
10, 6, 4
average of 6.67

I break even, but the purpose of the colonies is bring in more food for Phoenixia and to lower food prices for Phoenixia.

Actions:
Establishing agricultural colonies at D3 and C4.  Also has begun to stockpile food for the winters to help stabilize the country's food during winters.
