"You want to say, that you was imprisoned for no reason and then sent here?"

"They said that I was a suspect. Just not for what."

"Huh..that's strange..."
"Looks like we're here." Aldarilar nodded at lighthouse.

[XT Vengeance]

Inside the lighthouse, a lone Dunmer mare stands, sweeping the floor. "Oh? Is there something I can do for you all?"

[Katarn]

"Good day. Processus Vitellius is missing and we've heard that you might know where we could find him or at least where he was last seen."

[Ghostwolf]

"Indeed, knowing his profession as tax collector that cant be good for one's health."

[XT Vengeance]

"I...I haven't seen him in a while. It isn't like him to not visit me for this long," the mare said in a worried tone. "I...the last time I saw him he told me that he had to go meet someone out in the swamp north of town. I...I haven't seen him since."

[Katarn]

"What a lovely place for meeting someone...swamp. Anything you could tell us about this swamp?"

[Orm]

"Who was he going to meet? A swamp doesn't seem like a safe place." He asked the mare.

[Ghostwolf]

Hmmm....why do I have a feeling this wont end well, "Well lets see if we can find him then and get an explanation."

[XT Vengeance]

"I don't know. Just...if you find him...please tell me. I...I'm worried about him."

[Ghostwolf]

Ari noded then headed off to the surrounding swamp lands. Better brace myself for the inevitable...he probably met his maker somehow...deal gone wrong perhaps?? 

[Ketchup]

Hecate follows Ari towards the northern swamps.

[Orm]

Dalamus nodded before following the others to the swamps.

[Ghostwolf]

*rolls a 7 in Perception*

Ari scans the area around the swamps.

[XT Vengeance]

* Around the swamp you see several plants that look like they could be of use. A pair of mudcrabs are nearby. They scuttle up from the water to a strange shape in the tall grass. A swarm of flies floats above the shape.

[Ghostwolf]

With a grimace Ari wades into the swamp, "Flies....I hate being right....now for those annoying crabs."

With a mighty swing the Nordic pony decapitates one mudcrab.

[Orm]

Dalamus fires an arrow at the other mudcrab but misses.

[Ketchup]

Hecate fires a dart at the other mudcrab.

Both of the mudcrabs lay dead next to the maimed and half eaten body of an earth pony. He still has his bags.

Dalamus searches the pony's bags.

Hecate looks around the swamp for plants that may be useful.(10)

Dalamus finds:

Hecate can see several long stemmed, blue flowers sticking out of the swamp.

[Orm]

Dalamus takes the septims and the Tax Records. "Well looks like we found are tax collector. Let's go back to Ergalla and tell him what we found."

[Ghostwolf]

*rolls 4 on looting mudcrabs*

"Poor sod...."

Ari looked for the cause of his death.

*rolls 9 on perception*

Ari Finds:
1 crab meat

Ari notices a stab wound on the stallion's neck, as well as bruises on his face.

[Ketchup]

Hecate picks the flowers and loots the mudcrab he killed.(8)

Hecate finds:

(4) Coda Flowers

[Ketchup]

Hecate collects the meat and flowers.
"We should get going back."
He says before starting to walk back to town.
