That is not it at all. You hardly know the character, as well as the fact that it is a centuries old puzzle. That all points to it being strange to assume that someone had solved it, let alone assuming that there was something in it in the first place.

He only assumed that because of a trait that's easily observable: Nakuma likes to acquire rare things for whatever reason. Her being able to solve it, yeah, weird but he'd assume she'd try. Her saying that she did try contributes. That there was something in it, it's a box, kept under intense security measures. Such things are rarely puzzles for the sake of being puzzles.

So I'm bored and decided to watch Alpha and Omega. Haven't gotten far, but I love it when a super nice sounding character calmly says "let's rip their tail off and shove it down their throat."

 Oh yay! Another one! "If he gets out of line; take those beautiful teeth of yours, go for the throat, and don't let go until the body stops shaking." Best character ever.

The new Lone Ranger got terrible reviews, and while it's by no means my favorite movie, I thought it was alright.

Well, for a moment there I thought this movie would end with "put responsibility before love", which would have made me smile a lot. And very confused, because kids movies never do that.

BUT THEN, I realized there was still 10 minutes left.

Overall, very predictable storyline, pretty classic opposites-attract/taboo-love story. On top of that, some of the lovey-scenes made me wince and the overall theme of "love comes before everything else" upset me, but that was pretty much just 5 minutes out of the movie.

That being said, it was still incredibly entertaining and fun to watch, plus had very nice character designs. I'll likely watch it again at some point.
