Fallout Equestria: The Kingdom

[Katarn]

Snores loudly and tries wave away whatever or whoever causes him to drift away from sleep.

"On three we push together."

[Orm]

Searchlight was silent after hearing what Quiver had said what happened in the bakery. He stared at the ground for some time. After a while he floated the bag of carrot chips to Quiver. "Hungry?" He asked the pegasus.

[Ketchup]

Quiver takes a few carrot chips out of the bag.
"Thank you."
He says quietly before eating the chips slowly.

[Tytan]

"Alright. One two three push!"

[Katarn]

Pushes.

Slowly Jayne turns on his belly. Still snoring.

"He's a heavy sleeper. I think only whiskey or gunshots would wake him up..."

Opens one eye. "Did I've heard word 'whiskey'?"

[Tytan]

"I guess not that heavy."

[Katarn]

"So...where is whiskey?"

"Um..I'm sorry, I'm afraid the whiskey is gone."

"Why it it gone?" He shakes head. "I didn't drink it all...did I?"

[Orm]

"You can have the rest." He says as he floated the bag next to Quiver. "I don't exactly need to eat much nowadays." He said before letting out a sigh and sitting down.

[Tytan]

"I hope you didn't. There is such a thing as too much alcohol."

[Katarn]

"Lies! There's no such thing as---" Suddenly Jayne covers his beak with his claw and runs to the nearest window. He opens it and pukes.

"Apparently there is such a thing." Novae nudges Clock.

[Ketchup]

"Oh, thanks. So, what do ghouls need to survive if they don't eat much?"

[Tytan]

Clock can hear the badass gryphon retching his guts out, "I'd say so."

[Katarn]

"It was those cookies I've ate! They were way beyond their date of exp---" Continue 'doing his business'.

"Ugh...Does Vik or Charcoal give you 'troubles' like that?"

[Tytan]

"Not really. Char's to stubborn and Vik just doesn't complain."

[Katarn]

"I see 'augmented' folks really attracted to you."

[Tytan]

"It's a gift I guess. It is a little odd I guess, up until a few days ago I hardly ever saw cybers. Now there's three of'em, not including Vik."

[Orm]

"Truth is, I don't really know. I haven't been hungry or thirsty in years. I've seen ferals eating once, but they were acting like animals. Eating because they didn't know what else to do I guess." He sighs and looks down at his hooves.

[Katarn]

"To be honest...when I look at Vik I wonder is he 'alive'..I mean..so much tech and metal in him."

[Tytan]

"...He's alive... You can see it when you look in his eyes."

[Katarn]

"I'll believe your words...folks get nervous, when you look them in the eyes."

[Ketchup]

"Perhaps ferals have the instinct we all have to eat, yet don't need to. I'd guess... you eat for a similar reason, albeit in more civil ways, if the zombie analogy holds."
Quiver says with a happier tone.

[Ironmonger]

Cast Iron holsters his pistol, deciding to take a trot around the town to stretch his muscles.

[Tytan]

"Yeah, it's a little disconcerting. Just a natural reaction I guess."

[Orm]

"Maybe. Honestly, I do it because it... It reminds me that I wasn't always like this. It's one of the reason I drink in the morning. It's something I need to hang on to, or else I feel like I'm no different than those things." He shakes his head. "Sorry. Like I said, I've been thinking a lot lately." He said, trying to sound less depressing.

[Ketchup]

"I guess we all need something to hold on to."
Quiver pauses, then looks to the clouds.
"After yesterday, I'm having trouble finding what mine is..."

[Orm]

"Don't worry, Quiver. I'm sure you'll find it. Just don't give up until then, alright." He pats Quiver on the shoulder, then stands up. "Alright, enough moping around. We've got some mares and foals that have been through worse, and we need to make sure they're okay to travel today." He said, trying to change the subject.

[Ketchup]

Quiver stands up.
"Yeah, you're right. There's always another day. Let's go check on them."
He walks in to the bar and finds the mare with the missing hoof.
"How is the leg? Any pain?"
He asks quietly.

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal wakes with a start, his expression one of utter terror for a few moments before it turns back to one of calm. He looks at his mechanical hoof for a moment before getting up and hobbling over to the building the others had slept in.

[Tytan]

Clock looks over to the door, "Morning Char."

[XT Vengeance]

"Clock. You sleep alright?" he asks the mare, want to forget his own nightmares.
