Nora goes over to Flash and Iffin"Flash, you think it's one of Kifa's? Or just some local hunter?"

The mare pulls the snare's loop from around her hoof and holds it up to her eyes. "I think you'll have a better time figuring that out boss." she said before tossing the loop in the direction of Nora's voice.

Nora looks at the loop

"So, ya find anythin'?"

"Yeah, at least we know she was here recently."She offers the rope to Whisper"The rope isn't that stiff, so it's been here a day at most."

"Well, I suppose that narrow's it down a bit on where she could be."

"Yup it does."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

*In the Lands Near the Old Changeling Wastes*

A hoof explodes from the ground, it glows with an unnatural light, a light which shines with the radiant gold of the sun. A scream echos from the very earth as the ground split and it births a pony like a vile excrement of after birth it excretes a human. The pony and human are chained together with an unholy band of eldrich god's hair, finely woven to a strong braid. The rope burns their flesh endlessly without consuming it. Slowly they rise from the Earth's detritus and begin to brush off.

[Aonee]

"Illis? You have anything?"
"No, sorry Iffin. I think all the snow may be interfering with my sensors."
"Dang. Well keep trying."
"Will do."

[Guest]

Flash turned to her twin. "What is Iffin talking to? I don't hear any footsteps or wings." Bang however was busy looking elsewhere and missed what her sister had said. Flash tapped her shoulder and repeated herself.

The mare looked over her shoulder at Iffin then back at her sister. She kept her mouth shut however not sure how to explain what she saw.

[Aonee]

Iffin turns in the air to the twins. "Illis is an AI."

[Guest]

"Ah, an AI," She tilts her head at Iffin. "What's that?"

[Aonee]

Illis speaks up, appearing and floating down to the twins. "AI stand for Artificial Intelligence, I'm a computer program."

[Guest]

Bang looks at the AI when she sees it's beak start to move she turns to her twin. while Flash looks in the direction of it's voice.

After a few moments of Flash not saying anything Bang's lips move.

"Oh uh, she says it's like a computer program."

Bang's lips move again.

"Bang says 'like the game with the squares?' "

[Aonee]

"Ummm, no... I'm a bit more complicated than a tic-tac-toe program..."

[Guest]

((Wait what is Illis again? I mean what does she appear as? Griffon, pony, Etc.))

[Aonee]

((She looks like a griffin, kinda similar to Iffin.))

[Guest]

((Kay, just need to alter my last post a bit.))

"It wasn't tic-tac-toe. It was something else, started with an m 'Mi- something'."

[Aonee]

((Yea I have no idea what she's talking about.))

[Guest]

((Mine sweeper?))

[Guest]

((Guard got it.))

((Lucky guess then. I haven't played minesweeper in a long ass time.))

[Aonee]

"Well... Let's just say I'm very complicated then."

[Guest]

"Oh." Flash's curiosity satisfied her ears perked back up and continued to search for any noise.

Bang continued to look at the AI for a few moments before going back to splitting her attention between searching for clues and watching where her twin stepped.

Eventually Bang caught sight of something red, the mare quickly trotted up to the spot and leaned her head down.

Bang turned back to the group a red-tipped white feather hanging from her mouth.

[Aonee]

"Looks like Kifa's..."

[Guest]

Bang trotted up to Iffin and dropped the feather at her talons she returned to where she found the feather afterwards. She spotted some hoof prints along with pawprints of varying sizes and shapes.

[Aonee]

Iffin flaps down to Bang, careful not to disturb the prints. "Looks like hers and then I'm guessing the bigger ones are a yao guai's." The griffin kneels down close to the ground. "I think she went that way."

[Guest]

Flash repeats what Iffin says for Bang.

Bang nods and waits for her CO to tell her and everyone else what to do next.

[Guest]

Nora looks at the group"All right, lets follow the tracks then."She turns to Dante"Dante, go back to base and get some camping gear. We're going to be setting up camp just outside the woods for the night."

"Will do ma'am."

"And make sure you bring extra stuff."

"Yes ma'am."He sighs

"Nora, ya don't have ta get extra equipment, we'll be fine."

Nora shrugs"If you say so."She looks at Dante"Never mind , they'll just share with us."

He nods and flies off to camp.

[Guest]

Flash repeated Nora's orders for Bang and went back to listening.


Bang gave a single nod and followed the tracks.

[Aonee]

Iffin follows the tracks as well.

[Guest]

O silently takes point, following the trail.

Whisper follows.

Nora follows.

Azure looks over at her mother, then looks down and waits a few minutes."B-bye mama, I-it was nice talking to you."She stutters sadly then walks back home with Athena on her back I'm sorry if I did something wrong, mama.She thinks to herself.

[Aonee]

After a while, Kura looks at the two steaks cooling on their plates. "You can have my steak, Red, I'm not really hungry anymore."
