Moody just smiles at them as he starts hoofing out slices of ham onto each plate.

Red quietly whimpered at Saks before turning to Lavender. "He's right you know," she takes a bite of her Salad. "Just ask Saks she's a doctor."

Lavender looks to Red.
"I know, but I'm hungry."

As the rest of the meal is brought to the table, Lavender moves to start eating her salad before looking up.

"Is that the thing you had Mrs. Doo bring mama?"

"Mhmm it sure is sweetie."She smiles, then starts eating her salad.

"Mrs. Doo?" She replied as she raised an eyebrow at the suddenly less appetizing looking stew.

"Oh yea, Dizty Doo, right? From Absolutely Everything? Didn't you guys mention her in your stories?"

"Yes, Ditzy, brought me some ingredients she really is good at find just what you need."

"The very same. I was always happy to see her if the caravans I ran with passed by."
Moody starts to eat his salad, saving the soup for last.

Lavender finishes her salad and takes a bite from the ham. "Mmmmm"

"Oh, Ditzy? What did she bring you?" She sniffed the soup. "It smells good."

"Frost Spider meat."She says as she finishes her salad, and goes on to the stew,

"Spiders?" She looked skeptically a the stew. "You can eat those?"

Emma nods"Yup ya sure can. Whisper and I grew up on the stuff. Trust me it's really good."

Kura finishes her salad. "Sounds like it was better than the cloud wheat my parents grew up on."

Moody looks up from his food and smiles.
"If you prepare them just right. I've always enjoyed them since I first had it when I met Emma."
He looks over to Emma and smiles.
"But that may be from the memories eating it brings me."

Lavender has decided to try the soup herself. Her eyes go wide and light up at the taste. "This is really good mama."

"Mhmm, nothing else like it. It's one of things I miss from back home."She smiles as has spoonful of stew

Red abandoned her salad for the moment to get a spoonful of the stew. "Mmm." She looked at Mr.Blues "The first place we ate that I can remember was the sandwich shop in town." Red wrapped her tail around Sak's. "Those sandwiches weren't as good as this stew."

Curious, Kura tries the stew. "Mmmm, she's right. This is even better than my stew... Any chance I could get the recipe, if only to hang on to it?"

"Sure ya can. Probably better ya got it from me anyways."she has another spoonful"Whisper likes to add a little booze when he cooks it."

Lavender finish off her bowl of soup.
"Can I have some more?"

"What was that dear?"

"Ummm... may I have some more?

"Of course princess, if we have any left."
He looks over to Emma.

"Yea... I think my dad once told me Whisper likes to add battery acid to his moonshine..."

Lavender finish off her bowl of soup.

Red pouts a little at the mention of alcohol, alcohol she was not allowed to have for the next year. She bit into her slice of ham and chewed quietly.

((I will honestly say I didn't mean the Oliver Twist shout out, even if it did cross my mind.
Still, I'm trying to teach my daughter some manners.

((Asking if Moody the hoarder still has a spent bullet casing? One that's one of the last things he has to remember his friend with, even if a horrible memory?


Good possibility. I don't think on a necklace but it's somewhere in the house where Moody can bring it out whenever he chooses.
I'd say yes but it's probably never going to come up.))

Moody smiles as he gets up, grabbing Lavender's bowl and filling it up.
"Here you go princess."

"Thanks daddy!"

He chuckles as he sits back down.
"I'm still happy I stopped drinking. For nothing else then to avoid having to drink that moonshine haha."

"I'm pretty sure it burned all of Azure's taste buds off."

"And here I thought she avoided that kind of stuff"She sighs"Oh well, what can ya do?"

"Make sure she doesn't die from alcohol poisoning if she comes to work drunk. That's pretty much it."

Moody finishes off his own soup and starts to laugh.
"If it has then she's just like her father. Still remember when he had me eat some green paste saying it was 'fine'."
He shivers at the memory of the taste.
"It was anything but."
