He says before taking his armor off again.

Cast, rather than making the unnatural (for him) reaction of raising an eyebrow, looks blankly. "What exactly is the Luggage?"

[Scyto Harmony]

"Uh." He says, stopping in his tracks, "It's uh..." He walks back over and sits down, "A long story. Turn your ears on, if you really want to know."

[Ironmonger]

Cast gives Mince a flat stare. "Listening is what I've done most of my life, and it's never bothered me."

"Okay, okay, no need for the stare." He says, quickly.

"Well, about... just over a year ago, I was running away from this horrible, menacing creature..."

He looks Cast dead in the eye, "A slightly larger than normal Radroach."

"Anyways, I fled into this tiny hole in the ground, that ended up leading into this HUGE scientific complex, which ended in a Vault."

"Not sure which one, the numbers weren't there anymore for some reason. Maybe it wasn't official, I don't know. So, turns out, through some investigative work..."

"... meaning I tripped over a terminal..."

"... It turned out be this... big Ministry vault that was built to house a bunch of scientists and their inventions."

[Ironmonger]

Cast's ears perked up at this. "That sounds rather fascinating."
he says with an interested tone.

[Scyto Harmony]

"Almost everything was destroyed. There were a few untouched goodies, but it was very high security that I just couldn't get through.

Except... well, except this one door. It was broken through like someone had beat it down with a sledgehammer. And, inside, was the Luggage. Uh. Eating." He says the last word with a shudder.

[Ironmonger]

Cast's ears lower slightly. "Do I even want to know?"

[Scyto Harmony]

"Nope." He says, quickly. "Anyways, After I was done throwing up, It lunged at me. Took a nasty chunk out of my leg, too. But before it could finish me off, my blood dripped on an old stopwatch that was on the floor. And without warning, it just stopped and stared at me!" He pulls the watch out of his bag, "From what I could find out from the rest of the facility, it was a failed military storage device that has severe attachment issues with whoever owns this stopwatch."

[Ironmonger]

Cast gives an unfocused incredulous stare. "You were nearly killed...by a box...that did not fall on you." he says as he grasps the situation. "What. The. Ass."

[Scyto Harmony]

"I think you'll learn I have terrible, TERRIBLE luck."

[Ironmonger]

Cast's eye twitches as he imagines the horrible stuff that Mince could go through because of horrible luck. "My friend, I think that is an understatement, but I think I can relate. Did I ever tell you how I got these?" he says. With a hydraulic hiss he lifts his right leg.

"No, how?"

[Katarn]

"That sounds nice, I think I can play that part. I guess I won't be needing this."
He says before taking his armor off again.

"Don't worry, it shouldn't take long. Get comfy...well...on your own bed." Novae smiled awkwardly and trotted to Boomsticks. "Hello again, did you've fix my gun yet?" She said to Skippy.

[Ketchup]

Quiver nods to Novae as she leaves before laying on his belly, making sure to leave room for Novae on the bed. He begins to write in his PipBuck.

[Ironmonger]

"An artillery shell landed nearby and I caught part of the blast, it blew off all of my limbs. Wrought Iron himself made my augments." He chuckles. "After the incident, it became a guideline and something of a running joke that if the enemy has artillery, it will always find its mark."

[Scyto Harmony]

"Woah. If I were you, I would NOT be chuckling about such a thing." he rubs his head, "That's awful, man..."

[Ironmonger]

Cast shrugs. "It's war, I knew what I signed up for before I was deployed. Besides, one either has to learn to find something good about the worst, or let it drive them insane."

[Scyto Harmony]

"True, but I've already started down the path of the latter." He prods the mechanical leg, "Besides, you still look just as good with those."

[Ironmonger]

"We can fix that problem." he replies matter-o-factly. Then the other part registers. Cast's cheeks turn red. "T-thanks."
IS THAT STUTTERING I HEAR, SOLDIER?! the officer says in Cast's mind.
Fornicate in the general direction of 'Off'. he replies calmly.

[Scyto Harmony]

"Er, you think so?" He says, with a raised eyebrow. He's clearly skeptical.

[Ironmonger]

"Most psychological damage can be reversed given time and some form of treatment, but a proper psychologist would need to be found." He replies. "I had to help keep the stallions' morale up, so I know some about the subject." he says with a hint of pride.

[Scyto Harmony]

"Oh?" Said Mince, getting a sly grin, "And how did you go about keeping their 'morale' 'up'?"

[Ironmonger]

Cast makes a face that says "Wat." before replying. "Not like that!" He snorts then blushes and looks away. "Alright sometimes like that but that's not the point." He says, clearly flustered.

[Scyto Harmony]

Now it's Mince's turn to be flustered, "Wh-What!? What do you mean 'sometimes like that'!?? Are we talking about the same thing!?"

[Ironmonger]

Cast looks mortified. "I don't knoooow!" He blushes heavily. "I can't brain today."

[Scyto Harmony]

Mince places both his hooves on Cast's shoulders, "Stop. Just tell me one thing. What did you do to keep up morale?"

[Ironmonger]

"All sorts of things. I'd organize singing, music, try to get supplies for feasts..." He blushes a little. "That's all I can remember at the moment."

[Scyto Harmony]

He let's out a breath and let's go. "Don't scare me like that."

[Ironmonger]

"What did you think I was saying?"
