Shadow walks out of Tenpony and sits down by Cherry"Ah guess ah'll just wait fer them ta come out here, no need ta bug'em."

"Um, what are ya talkin' 'bout darlin'?"

"Oh, right, ah wanted ta give Tumble a funeral. Ya know somethin' nice back home."

"All right, that'd be nice. He deserves one."

"Yeah, he does."He sighs then rests his head on Cherry's shoulder.

Mirabelle smiled and kissed him softly.

[Ketchup]

"We did, and most of the group isn't here now. Only three of us. So, while we are still around, anything that we can help with?"

"Lots of places. Don't remember getting most of them. I'm no stranger to getting shot, stabbed, burned and anything else you can think of. If a pony doesn't have scars, they're doing something right. Or wrong, depending on your view on things."

[CamoBadger]

"I'm not sure," the unicorn replied and looked around. "We've got plenty of ponies around, and the only threat we have is whoever destroyed Old Appleloosa."

[XT Vengeance]

"We, uh...we should probably get some rest. Maybe if you are feeling better we can go hunt down some raisers in a couple days."

[CamoBadger]

"Yeah, that should be fun," Mira told him with a smile.

[Katarn]

"Well..that's actually good, that you have everything covered." Novae replied. "You sure have lots of folks here."

[Tytan]

"It's kinda funny. I've given lots of people scars, but it was always to help them."

"Well fair's fair," Clock stood, lifting her rear out of the water. Her flank was covered with well over a dozen thin, line shaped scars, "I was held captive for three days. If I did anything they didn't like I was 'punished'." Clock sat back down.

[Ketchup]

"The forces that attacked Old Appleloosa seem to have gone towards Manehattan, but we haven't seen them while we were there."
He shrugs.
"I guess it would be best to prepare for the worst, though."

[XT Vengeance]

"Yeah, but maybe we can have fun here as well?" Charcoal said looking into the mare's indigo eyes. "I'm pretty sure we won't have that many chances to have a safe area like this."

[CamoBadger]

"Oh really?" Her lips brushed over his again. "Then we should probably take advantage of it."

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal smiled, blushing slightly. "I uh...yeah. We should."

Eve stares at Clock's scars longer than was necessary. "Oh, I...I'm sorry to hear that. Must've been...something."
"I got into a lot of fights. Still do. That's where I got most of these." She looks down into the water. "And then there's the scars on my flanks. That's a different story..."

[Ketchup]

"Well, if you think of anything that needs doing, we'll be here for the next day or so."
He says with a polite nod to Martini, then motions for Novae to follow him and trots to his usual place in the tavern.

Clock smirks, "Should I stand back up?"

Clock remember seeing the odd scars on her flanks, "I thought they looked a little strange, how'd you get them?"

[Katarn]

As they got to their usual place. "You know, one day there will be sign 'Quiver and Novae spend here most of their life'." Novae said with giggle.

[Ketchup]

"Well, as of late, I suppose that is true."
He says with a chuckle before sitting down.
"I guess we could just relax for a day and just do nothing."
He shrugs.
"I did a lot of that at home."

[CamoBadger]

"The tub looked pretty roomy, maybe we could take a bath while Dinner Bell naps," she breathed into his ear and ran her tongue softly across the tip.

[Katarn]

"Relax or do nothing?" Novae asked with grin. "Though from what I know about you so far, it more likely was 'relax between hard work'."

[MrMagma]

Eve looks around shiftily and blushes lightly. "I-I don't know what you're talking about."
"I got them from home. No-one there has a cutie mark. Not for long, anyway."

[Ketchup]

"Well, what I did in the Stable can't really be considered 'hard work'. What I've become accustomed to doing out here... killing... that's hard."
He sighed.
"I'm happy to just have nothing to worry about, aside from home. So doing nothing seems the be the same thing as relaxing to me."

[XT Vengeance]

"That...that sounds nice," Charcoal replied quietly. "Uh...let's...let's do that."

[Tytan]

Clock chuckles, "I can tell the difference between someone checking out my scars and someone checking out my flank. You don't have to be embarrassed, I was checking yours out too."

Clock is stunned, "That... That's awful. Why would they do that?"

[CamoBadger]

Mira kissed him softly and whispered to him. "I'll go get the water ready." She crawled carefully off the bed and trotted to the bathroom, waving her flank slightly and flicking up her tail briefly.

[MrMagma]

"Why? Why not? I don't want some picture on my butt telling me what I'm good at, or what I'm destined to do, or destined to be. I can be who I want, do what I want, and be good at whatever I want, and a lot of ponies back home felt the same." Eve sighs quietly. "I suppose if you want an actual answer, then it's freedom and equality."

[Katarn]

"Yeah...killing...it's always hard...but it's inevitable on the surface...sadly..."

[Tytan]

"That's... not the worst answer I've heard. But I realized something when I got mine. They aren't for our benefit. They aren't there to dictate how we should live our lives. I mean, look at mine. I've never even seen a pocket watch. They're for everyone else's benefit. They tell others what kind of pony we are."

"...Do you remember what yours was?"

[Ketchup]

"I guess the only way to stop that is to keep those who make it necessary cease doing so... which seems to involve killing them more often than not. Maybe it won't be necessary in the future. Maybe there will be peace in the Wasteland. We just need more people need to work towards it."
He sighs again.
"But that's just a dream, isn't it? People out here are fulfilling the basic necessities of life, or even more, however they can. I guess violence is easier for the ones who choose it than acquiring those essentials for themselves."
He waits a few seconds before speaking again.
"And greed."

"No. Maybe someone back home does, but I certainly don't."
