He says to her before looking at Jayne with a bemused expression.

[Katarn]

"Um...okay..." She looks from Quiver to Jayne.

"Go, just let me have fun of my own." He turned to bar stand and took another shot of whiskey.

[Ketchup]

Quiver lead Novae back to their usual table.
"Well... that went... well, I guess."
He says as he takes a seat.

[Katarn]

"Yeah..could get worse." Novae said with weak smile.
"Sorry about that, by the way."

[Ketchup]

"It's fine. Really."
He says with a smile.
"A bit unexpected, that's all."

[Katarn]

"It really was. And thanks by the way...for everything."

[Ketchup]

"Well, you're welcome, I guess."
He says nothing for a few seconds.
"What do you want to do now?"

[Katarn]

"Well...not another massage for sure." She smiles and looks back at Jayne. "Or anything like that." Novae look Quiver in the eyes. "What do you would like to do?"

[Ketchup]

"I don't know. I guess we're back to doing nothing. I like spending time with you, doing that is good enough."
He says with a smile.

[Katarn]

"You make me blush...and you know it." She says, her cheeks become slightly red.

[Ketchup]

"You're cute when you blush. Goes well with your stripes."
He says with a grin.

[Katarn]

"Hmm, I thought dye would last long--" Novae studies her body, finding that it's still white, without stripes. "Oh you. Made me worry for a second." She smiles.

[Ketchup]

He chuckles and shrugs.
"You're still cute."

[Katarn]

"S-s-stoppit! Or instead of white I'll be red!" She stomps, but chuckles.

[Ketchup]

Quiver chuckles again.
"Alright, I'll stop."
He says with mock disappointment.
"When do you think you'll wash the dye out?"

[Katarn]

"I get it, you're with me only for my stripes." She says with flat look. "Sooner or later." She looks closer at her body. "I see some base part of my coat already slowly turning black. I guess that dye wasn't permanent."

[Ketchup]

"Novae, I'm not with you for your stripes. I like your stripes, sure, but I like you more."
Quiver says sincerely.
"I'm sorry."
He looks down.

[Katarn]

Novae moved to Quiver and lifted his head with her hoof. "Just shut up." And planted kiss on his lips.

[Ketchup]

Quiver returns the kiss for a few seconds before breaking off.
"Okay."
He says quietly with a weak smile.

[Katarn]

Novae giggles and boops Quiver's nose. "Ofcourse I know you're not with me for my stripes...at least not only for them. And I appreciate it."

[Ketchup]

"And I know you aren't with me for my wings. I appreciate that, too."
Quiver says, still smiling.
"Thanks for coming home with me to warn them. You helped a lot, and I appreciate your company."

[Katarn]

"Yeah...well..." She scratch her back awkwardly. "Couldn't let you go alone. You, Stable folks, can get in bad situation pretty easy. And I wouldn't want you to work with something as dangerous as explosives, capable of bringing down whole tunnel."

[Ketchup]

"Very valid reasons... still, thank you. And Jayne, he probably didn't want to be there at all."
He says with a smile.

[Katarn]

"Yeah..he's not really comfortable underground or in tight places. Though when I was smaller, I've heard him mentioning some tight place where he was comfortable....I don't remember what he was saying though." Waves her hoof. "Anyway. You know I won't let you down and won't leave you."

[Ketchup]

"As long as you still want me around, I won't leave you either, and I'll do my best not to let you down."
He says before he pulls her into a hug.

[Katarn]

She returns hug, but then moves her hooves down to Quiver's...wing and unfolds it. She brushes his feathers.

[Ketchup]

"Novae... why are you touching my feathers? Are they really that soft?"
He whispers to her, keeping her in an embrace.

[Katarn]

"Yup. I amazed me you haven't noticed it yet."

[Ketchup]

"I guess I don't really notice it because I'm used to them brushing on my back and sides..."
He frowns at the realization that he may give her an idea.
"...Please don't tickle me."

"Okay, but I'll keep that in mind." She smiles.
