I saw a review that went like this:
"When it's working, this game is awesome and addictive. When it's not working, it's the most frustrating thing ever. It's not working!"

...Yeah.

I used it to play the ME3 demo(maybe beta, don't remember), and I didn't like it then. Too clunky compared to Steam.

There was kind of the same situation with the ME3 release. A lot of people couldn't get connection, or had the game files corrupted.

FYI, all, I'm working toward creating an international seaport.

I'll need to build a lot more industries for that.

Should be done by tomorrow - I'm filthy rich ; that's what pissing on the environment does to you. Luna

Edit : someone else is using the line to download several GB worth of data, which given our line rated for 128 KB/s mean I will probably not be able to play tonight...

This bullshit piss me off.

I'm sorry... I've killed that zone and I've killed another city zone too.
I had a sweet deal going on and then some fucking godzilla wannabe clawed its ugly ass out of the ground destroying my main source of money, tore my city up and then died after eating all my rubbish.

Anyway, I also managed to unlock earthquakes and trying it out I completely destroyed my city by accident.

Then when I tried to cut my losses by wiring money to a different spot I had claimed earlier on it sent the money but the other spot never received it, so.. yeah.
Sucks hardcore but I don't want to ask you guys to bail me out or anything.
Still, dunno what to do. I can't play on the same island as you because it literally won't let me do a thing now.

Can't you, like, erase the city and get back as a blank slate ?

Anyway, I'm developing Toko right now. Current challenge is avoiding an incoming budget crisis because apparently education cost a bunch, but it's kinda necessary if you want to go Hi-Tech...

By the way, I've built the seaport, but I'm short 100k in order to build the dock itself - right now it's only networked with the railway.

And I've only around 5 to 6 in-game month left of oil supply, so given it's my major currency-supply, I kinda need to diversify my economy quickly.

No ability to wipe a city to a clean state, unfortunately.
You'd have to wipe the whole region to do it - that or lend me something like 60k so I can get out of debt to rebuild slowly.

I think my most successful game of SimCity was in one of the really, really old ones, with 2D graphics and everything. Possibly the original version, actually, looking at the Wikipedia article. Anyway, it was a scenario in which one of future (at the time) Boston's nuclear power plants blew up, and you had to clean up, contain the damage, and rebuild by the end of the time limit. I paused the game at the start of the scenario, deleted all the nuclear power plants before they could explode, and won. True, the city was suffering from constant brownouts all over, but there wasn't any radiation by the time it ended! :D

So, yeah, basically, I'm not good at it either.

I'll try to take care of these traditionally, cause I'd like the tower to stay. It upgrades all the industry to TL3.

...that is, if we're not making a new region today.

Why would we make a new region ?

Oh, by the way, given the layout of your city, you could probably transform it into a gambling paradise. Would bring in some nice cash.

You unable to get on euro west 4 either, huh?

I'm really tempted to suggest one of the new euro west servers.

Making a region on euro west 6.
We don't HAVE to use it but it could be a backup or something.
Or if the problem persists, we could end up using it full time anyway.

I'm guessing since it's a new listing it'll hopefully be more stable.

"The players are free to choose any server they want"

... but only the one EA preselected for you will work, even if it isn't the one on which you have your cities.

WHAT THE FUCK !!? Couldn't they at least link the cities to the player account and not the server ? No, they had to play dumb and link them to the servers they KNEW FULL WELL would be overloaded (I don't believe a single second they could have been so dumb as to not take into account people would spend several hours each playing the game and immobilizing a server slot).

IMHO, they should completely review their online architecture, and do only ONE big worldwide server, but distributed among several datacenters dispersed worldwide, with a dynamic load management. It's the only thing that makes sense given the current situation.

Um... Harmony, do you actually have anything left to do?

I've kind of just noticed that (probably threw a 1 on the spot check), but cities are tiny now. Way smaller than they were allowed to be in the previous titles. And your city already occupies all the space, so... what now? Are you saving to make a Greatwork?

The cities are indeed tiny, it's fucking annoying. I suppose their intention is you use all the resources of the region to help one another out but in their fucking retarded ideas, they made it so you can't trade resources across multiple cities unless you're all connected by road... which on the bigger maps, even when you think it would be so, it isn't.

Fucking stupid.

Anyway, I've had to abandon another town. May/may not even abandon the whole fucking region (again) because it turns out you can extract the entire watersource within a day.
...Yeah, within a single day of playing, you can extract pretty much all the water.
Whose brilliant idea was that.

Valik', we've moved to a new region. Ask Kipper to send you an invite.

But yeah, the way the regions are set up is fucking retarded. Literally, water is the most precious resource in the game. I'm not fucking kidding - everything else can be traded on the world market, and is in infinite amount, but not water.

Anyway, it wouldn't be so bad if some weren't so dumb as to build nuclear power plants just to have them explode at the slightest provocation... *glance at Kipper*

... Fucked up the power supply of my metropolis...

Aww man, I wanted to be the one to gain money through that... *sadface*

But really, since you done fucked up with nuclear power my city has been gone on a downward spiral.

I've lots of debts, I've been forced to raise taxes, and I still suffer from not enough water.

At least now I have enough energy since I built a 300MW coal plant. Got rid of the wind turbines as a measure of economy. Just wondering if the coal supply will follow...

Ah, also, I need more poors. From the exterior, of course. I don't want them inhabiting my city... Princess Celestia

I saw there's apparently money on the regional account ? Can I suck that to pay off my debts ? How does it work ?
