Kalypso, on the other hand, is pulling Cally along, "Come on! You don't want to miss the tour, do you?"

Crys giggles at the sight of Cally being pulled by Kally.

Cally barely resisted going along with Kalypso. Still, he was not so hot on the idea of going on the tour and the possibility of having to talk to a lot more ponies. Especially with Kronos coming along.
Trying to take his mind off of the whole thing, he decided to strike up a conversation with Kalypso.
So, Kalypso, do you know what professions you and your brother are in yet?

"Uuuuhm," She says, thoughtfully. "I think it's--"

"We're running the Relaxation and Unused-Code Purging Center." He says, simply.

"Oh yeah!" She says, happily, "We run the Spa!"

"Ooooh, that sounds like it'll be great. Oh, that reminds me, the farms should be up and running soon, so when they are, make sure to eat every so often."

Cally blinks at this revelation. A look of genuine confusion on his face.

R-r-really Kalypso? I m-mean, you I could see working in a Spa. You've got the r-r-right attitude and all, but him*points at Kronos*He's suppose to m-m-make ponies feel better?

"Oh yes!" She giggles, "Me and my brother each have 3 main directives."

"She's Optimism, Data-Cleaning, and Generosity." He says lazily.

"And he's Pessimism, Data-Restoration, and Loyalty." She giggles.

Cally gave an unsure look at Kronos. he was beginning to have doubts about trusting the pessimistic stallion with his personal code but decided he'd keep that to himself. Instead he continued his conversation with Kalypso.

So, Kal, um, how exactly d-do you clean somepony's data?

"Oh, I take a big wet sponge and scrub all over their body!" She says, cheerily.

"That's just for show. We just look at your past back-ups and compare them to your current state and look for false positives and corrupt or otherwise unusual data streams."

Cally ignored what Kronos said and blushed at Kalypso's description.

Um, I th-th-think I'd like t-to have that d-d-done sometime.

((Aaand Cally fails at flirting.))

Crys nods. "Mmmm, sounds like it'll be great. Soo, first stop will probably be the Control Building. It's where all the mods do their work and stuff, plus we can register y'all into the database so you'll be official residents of the server."

"Mods?"

[Aonee]

"Well, yea. They're the AIs between normal denizens like us and Admins. Right now Celle and Lunar could probably manage everything on their own, but it's smarter to have the infrastructure in place if its needed. There's quite a few different kinds of mods though. The ones we're seeing justanage the server."

Cally gave and embarrassed look and rubbed the back of his head nervously. Oh. Um, j-just a suggestion, and you absolutely totally don't have to do it if you don't want to, but you m-m-might want to check your speech synthesizer, I think it just g-g-glitched.

((Idea, from now on, when we make a grammar or spelling mistake in dialog, we chalk it up to a speech synthesizer glitch.
On a different note, what do you guys think of Cally's stutter? Is it too much, am I doing it right, does it sound right when you read it out loud?
Also, I'm surprised none of the characters commented about it. Surely someone would have asked if his speech is just still buggy or something.))

Crys shrugs. "Eh. I'll probably check it later. What about yours? You seem to be stuttering a lot."

Cally looked at the ground in what almost looked like shame.

It's n-not a glitch. It's p-part of my personality programming.

Huh? Yeah, it's n-n-nothing. So, um, what all do we have to d-d-do to register?

((Eh, not pressing it yet cause they just met I guess.))
"Not much. Just holding a hoof up to a scanner so they can index your info."
