It was my first time through it so I played on easy.

And I'm not sure why people would decide not to get it because a season pass was announced. You don't have to buy DLC. I might be missing the reason season passes are offensive or something.

It's not that people aren't pre-ordering, I guess just not as many as they would like or expected.

Other then the pre-order bonuses for the game itself, Steam has a three tier bonus system going on for it. It's already reached and pass tier one, which is a free copy of Bioshock, tier two being a ton of TF2 items, and tier three being a free copy of X-Com.

Most people I see who don't like season passes are those who either assume the DLC is already done and should be in the game. Or they don't want to pay extra for more content because they are cheap.

And as for those not buying it on steam, I guess some people could be buying a physical copy for the premium edition or something.

I'm not really for pre ordering by the way. It's just that pre ordering has become a way of judging how successful a game is.

@Orm Maybe if it was day one DLC I could see their claims about it being completed, but I sincerely doubt that is the case.

Yeah, I'm usually not one for pre-orders but they got me this time.

I mean it's a $60, and other then the regular crap they throw in for getting it early, I now have a $20 game and the chance to get even more free crap for other games and a game that's currently $50 that I can give to a friend as a gift.
