[Perception 6-1 (7)]"Clock...I'm going to go check out the shops. I...I need some time to think," Charcoal said quietly, standing up.

He made his way out of the makeshift restaurant and looked around to see what stores might have something he could use.

There's a few rather interesting shops in the area. A basket weaver, a pottery store, a grocery store that seems to sell only pre-war goods, and even a specialty shop that has a bunch of high priced novelties.

Charcoal sighed. "I should have known." He looked for the nearest unoccupied bench and sat down.

Clock finished her meal and thanked the DJ for his kindness. She told him she'd meet him at the spa a little later after she had a look around at the shops.

Clock trotted to the novelty shop and entered.

"Hi, what can I get for you?" a well dressed stallion asked as Clock entered.

"Hi, I'm looking for a present or two. I need a present for a filly, and I was wondering if you sold coat dye."

"Plenty of things. Fine tobacco, small art, pre-apocalypse memorabilia."

[CamoBadger]

"Plenty of things. Fine tobacco, small art, pre-apocalypse memorabilia. Afraid I don't have any coat die though. You might check the spa if you're looking for a new look."

[Tytan]

"Oh, well do you have any toys or something a filly would like?"

[CamoBadger]

"Sure do. I have a few things from before the war, dolls and plush toys for 15 caps each."

[Tytan]

"Oh, a plush would be perfect."

[CamoBadger]

"Great. Would the little one prefer a bear, a rabbit, or a bird?"

[Tytan]

Clock seemed to recall Flower playing with Scorch, "The bird please."

[CamoBadger]

"Alright, here you go," the stallion replied and passed over a little green plush bird. It wasn't in perfect condition, but at least it was clean and intact, only missing a few spots of the fluff covering it's body.

[Tytan]

"This is perfect, thank you." Clock hoofs him the fifteen caps.

[CamoBadger]

"I hope she enjoys it."

[Tytan]

Clock smiles, "I think she will. Thank you." Clock leaves the store.

"Here, Cherry, one sec, I just remembered I have a radio..."
[Science 45; (5)] After a small bit, Dr. Octo's voice can be heard from Quiver's PipBuck, although it is hushed. "Quiver... Come in Quiver, can you hear me?"

Cherry looks at Octo, worriedly"Doc... Ah don't know if that's a good idea..."

[PER; (10+5)] Octo looks around to see if any of the slavers are paying attention to them. "I can at least try."

"Ah guess so..."

At least 4 guards are constantly watching the cages, never looking away from the slaves inside.

"Okay... I just have to do this without drawing attention... Wow, these slavers are organized. "

Quiver's Pipbuck beeped as a notification popped up.
"New Transmission Detected"

Cherry nods"Yeah, gotta watch yer product and all..."She pauses"Ya think ya can do it. Ya don't need ta get yerself hurt..."

"Hmm, odd. My PipBuck is picking up a new signal, one that hasn't been active."
He said to Searchlight as he toggled the audio and listened.

"Injury is probably the last thing any of us should be worrying about." Eve muttered quietly, from across the cage.
