Oh, and the new chapter is going to be delayed for a while. I have to write another short story for my writing class that has to be between 5 and 20 pages.
Knowing me, it will hit at least 15 to be a full story because I'm incapable of writing less than that for a fully resolved story, and that's about how long each chapter of All That Remains ends up being.

So yeah, sorry for yet another delay.

I'm doing pretty good myself, I'm working on something I can actually post. It's raining though.

So, does your teacher for your writing class like your stories so far?

Honestly, I didn't like my first one at all, but I don't know how to write a full story in only 2 pages. She liked bits of it, but naturally she agreed it was lacking in details and elements that were needed for it, as well as it having a very abrupt ending. Apparently I did a good job revealing mystery and developed it well, but had an inconsistent character. In the end she said it was a "strong, intriguing draft" (which is more than I thought of it) that could use a better ending.
(It wasn't as dark as my usual stuff though. My new one will be more with my usual style, so I'll know what she actually thinks of what I do.)
Luckily, I get much more space in this next story, so hopefully I won't have the same problems since I can actually develop how I like to rather than being constricted to a single scene.
