"No. They deserve everythin' comin' ta them, ah can promise it'll be quick but that's it."Shadow walks off and heads to the slaver camp to get Tumble and Eve.

"Sorry 'bout him, Search. He doesn't have a very good history with Slavers. Ah really wish ah could help, but ah don't think there's anythin' anyone can do ta convince him other wise."She says sincerely

"It's alright, I'm sure whatever history he has with them is enough reason for him to hate them. It would just be nice if we could go on one of these without everyone getting killed." Searchlight looks around town then turns back to Cherry. "I'm going to look for the others, if you find the others tell them to meet up at the gate so we can go." He says to Cherry before leaving to look for the rest of the group.

Cherry flies up to Search"Oh, uh, Shadow and ah will meet ya at a camp 'bout two hours east of here. We got some stuff there, and Shadow was gonna go get Tumble and Eve."She nods then goes and finds Cast."Cast, we gotta job in Manehatten ya interested?"

[Ironmonger]

"Manevatnow?" he says with a blink. "Sure, beats just valking around here all day. Traveling long distances, constant danger, strange creatures. Almost like home." he says jokingly.

[Guest]

"Manehatten, biggest city out east next ta Friendship city."She nods"Good thin' we can count on ya, 'cause were goin' ta attack some slavers. There is a bonus fer takin' some alive, but ah don't think that's gonna happen."

[Ironmonger]

"Sounds like vee need all zeh firepower vee can get. Vere do vee meet up?"

[Guest]

"Ya can meet the others at the gate and lead'em ta the camp we stayed at a couple nights ago. Shadow went ta go get Tumble and Eve, and ah was gonna go with him."

[Ironmonger]

"May as vell get a move on. Time vaits for novun." he says, trotting to the gate.

[Guest]

"Thanks, Cast. We'll see y'all there."She smiles then flies off to catch up to Shadow. After twenty minutes of flying, she catches up to him and lands"Sweetie, are sure we can't try?"

Shadow shakes his head"Love ah can't take'em alive. Not after what happened ta mama and Penny. Ah'm sorry but ah just can't."

She sighs"Ah know, darlin', just don't go overboard all right? And if someone does manage ta take one, leave'em be." "No 'accidents'"She makes air quotes with her wings.

He looks at her, and thinks. After awhile he sighs"Okay, fine, it'll be quick just like ah said."

She looks at Shadow seriously.

"Ah promise, okay?"

She looks at him for a couple more seconds then sighs"Okay, love, ah'm gonna hold ya ta that."

He nods and they both continue walking about an hour and a half later, they show up at the camp.

Shadow approaches Tumbles tent"Hey, bud, we're goin' ta Manehatten soon."

Tumble gets up from his lying position he didn't show any signs of waking up just recently though. "Why?"

Flower trotted happily to Cherry.

[Guest]

Cherry smiles at Flower and gives her a hug.

"We gotta job ta clear out some slavers."

She hits his shoulder

He rolls his eyes"And we get a bonus fer takin' some alive."He says sounding uninterested"Ya can do that if ya want."

[Guest]

He gave Shadow a concerned look. "Are you going to be alright for this job?"

Flower returned the hug. "I missed you Chewwy."

[Guest]

Shadow nods"Ah'll be fine, just keep the live ones away from me. Besides ah have ta get there ta find Cut-Throat, so it was bound ta happen anyways."

Cherry nuzzles her"Ah missed ya too, sweetie."

[Guest]

He looked over Shadow a few times before nodding. "OK, well I'm good to go."

Flower grinned up st cherry nuzzling the older mare's snout. She gently pulled herself from the embrace stick close to her hooves.

"The rest of the folks in New Appleloosa will meet us here, so ah guess we tell Eve, then wait fer'em ta get here."He shrugs

Cherry uses one of her wings to tickle Flower.

He gave Shadow a worried glance before nodding his understanding.

Flower giggled and playfully kicked a leg out at Cherry. "Stop Chewwy."

[Guest]

"Stop what, sweetie?"She giggled as she continued to tickle Flower

[Per 9, (9+4)]Shadow notices his glance"Don't worry 'bout the others, just focus on the job and we'll be fine."He says honestly"'Sides, ah got yer back if they do try anythin'."

"I'm not worried about me."

The fill giggling grew in pitch volume "Stop... That..." She said between giggles in a tone that suggested she was still enjoying their game.

[Guest]

Shadow looks away"Ah'll... Ah'll be fine, promise."

"Oh ya mean this?"She giggles as she starts to use both wings to tickle the filly.

[Guest]

To Shadow:

He patted Shadow's shoulder. "I got your back whatever happens."

The filly's giggling continued to rise in volume she however started to squirm a bit showing signs of growing discomfort.

To Tumble:

"...But in case it does, thanks Tumble."He says sincerely

Cherry stops tickling Flower and gives her a nuzzle"All done fer now, sweetpea."

[Guest]

He smiles and nods at Shadow.

Flower wrapped her hooves around Cherry's muzzle and nuzzled her forehead affectionately.

To cherry:

Cherry's eyes water a little as she smiles and gives Flower nuzzle and a kiss on the forehead

To Flower:

She returns the hug.

Charcoal sat there silently next to Clockwork for a long moment before he finally spoke again.

"Clock, I don't think I can let any of the slavers live," he said to the mare, his mind clearly on the mission ahead.

[Tytan]

Clock turns her head towards him, "Why? They aren't raiders. They're just ponies that hold some... less than agreeable beliefs."

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal let out a sigh. "Clock, how do you think they get their slaves? Ponies don't just volunteer to be sold into servitude."

[Tytan]

"*Sigh* I know... But Novae didn't seem to have anything really bad to say about it. She said she was treated fairly well. She was fed and had a place to sleep. She probably had a better life than the rest of her family."

[Guest]

Shadow walks up to Eve"Eve, we're goin' ta Manehatten. Gotta a job ta clear out some slavers."He pauses"And there's a bonus if ya keep'em alive..."He says reluctantly.

"She was lucky," was his terse reply.

Charcoal let out a heavy sigh. "Clock, give me a reason why I should let ponies like that go on," he said quietly.
