"Yea... no. Not really."

"What's the matter?" Ditsy asked with a frown.

[Tytan]

"Guilt... and a hangover."

[CamoBadger]

"Oh. Well I can't do much for the latter, you'll need to talk to the docs about that," Ditsy replied with a shake of her head. "But I can listen if you want to talk about the guilt."

[Tytan]

"Don't worry about the hangover. I think it's a punishment... and I think I got spanked..." Clock hurriedly redirects, "Uh, do you... do you remember Blood Clot?"

"The doctor in Old Appleloosa? Yeah, we've talked a few times. Why?"

[Tytan]

"She's... she's dead... and it's my fault."

"Oh..." Ditsy sat down and frowned. "What happened?"

[Tytan]

Tears build in her eyes as she recalls the events of the previous night, "Pinnacle was holding her hostage. He said he'd let her live... if I took her place. But... Charcoal shot her."

"He... he what?" Ditsy asked with wide eyes. "W-why would he do that?"

[Tytan]

Clock sounds very solemn, "I... I don't know. I want to think it was to save me... but I'm not sure anymore."

Ditsy trotted over to Clock and put her hooves around the mare. "T-that must be it... I don't think it's right... but," she sighed and pulled Clock tighter. "It isn't your fault, okay?"

[Tytan]

"How is it not? All I had to do was walk a little faster, and... and..." Clock sobs, "Trade my life for hers."

She sniffs, "Easiest life I ever saved."

[CamoBadger]

"But then you wouldn't be here," Ditsy replied quietly. "It's terrible that she died, but one life is not worth more than another," she assured the distressed mare. "She will be missed, but you would be too. How do you think she would have felt if you died instead of her? She was a doctor too, do you really think she would forgive herself for letting you die instead of her?"

[Tytan]

"I... don't know. I was just... I was... so ready to die. The only thing holding me back... was Char."

[CamoBadger]

"You love him," Ditsy told her quietly. "And he loves you."

[Tytan]

"I do love him... and I think he loves me. It's just that it seems like we get into an argument every other day. One of us ends up stepping on one of the others emotional landmines, and... *sigh*"

[CamoBadger]

"Would you rather they come up down the road? At least now you're both getting it out of the way," Ditsy tried to comfort Clock. "And if it's as bad as it sounds, just think of it like this; if you can stay together through each other's demons, then what could possibly tear you apart?"

[Tytan]

"I think we'll tear ourselves apart long before the wasteland gets a chance."

"When he left after the mill he started beating himself. When he came back to town... He had a concussion, and nearly broke his own jaw."

[CamoBadger]

"Oh...I remember seeing him," Ditsy said sadly. "Just don't let go of him, okay? If you are going to continue pursuing Pinnacle, you'll need each other."

[Tytan]

"I'm wondering if we should... pursue Pinnacle I mean. DJ Pon3 invited us to Tenpony... maybe we could use a break."

[CamoBadger]

"You deserve it," Ditsy agreed. "All of you and your friends do after everything you've done for those of us in New Appleloosa, not to mention the other ponies you've saved."

[Tytan]

"Maybe you're right..." Clock wipes her eyes with her hoof, "Thank you Ditsy. I needed this."

[CamoBadger]

"Glad I could help," the ghoul said with a nod.

[Tytan]

Clock gave Ditsy a quick hug and trotted out of the store.

Shadow's eyes open as he starts to take in the area."Time ta go, ah guess."He mutters to himself as his book disappears and his tendrils retreat back into his coat.

Cherry lets out a yawn as she starts to wake up"Goin' somewhere, sweetie?"

"Takin' a walk. Wanna come with?"

She shrugs"Sure."Cherry rolls up the blanket and puts it her bags."So, that's what ya did yesterday, huh?"

He nods"Yeah, figured we should do somethin' with it."He gets out of the booth and waits for Cherry.

She follows him"Got anywhere in mind."

"Nope just feel like takin' a look around. Got a weird feelin'."

"...Good thin' ah'm commin'. Whenever ya get a weird feelin', ya always end up in trouble."

He chuckles a little and the pair walk out of the tavern.

[Katarn]

He leads Novae back to the table and sits down.
"So... what were you up to while I was napping?"

"Nothing much. Decide to take a nap myself, only I've woke up little earlier, than you." Novae said, while brushing her mane.

[Ketchup]

"That's good. Did you sleep well? Dream?"

[Katarn]

"Sleep good? Yes. Dream? No...I can't remember my dream...though I think it was about you." She rubs her chin.

"I see... Nothing unpleasant, I take it?""
