Quiver smiles, then coughs several times into his vest.

As Novae trots away from Quiver, Jayne walks to him and sits down in front of him. "So...I get Novae was with you on 'date'."

"Right." he trotted off behind the tree hoping the Radbloom was a straight shot. He kept his eye out for the tree they were looking for and dangers as he trotted. [PER (6+1)]

Quiver addresses Jayne.
"Well, I suppose so. We had dinner together last night."

[Katarn]

"Good, good. I hope you don't plan on hurting Novae.."

Shadow walks up to Tumble and tendrils at the ready.

Eve follows the pair.

"Hurt her?"
Quiver's expression turns sour.
"I'd never want to hurt her. What gave you that idea?"

[Katarn]

"Nothing, just asking." Jayne reaches to his bag and pulls something from there. "You know...I love shotguns. Really powerful weapon, especially in close range." Jayne puts on tables few shotgun shells. "I think you know this." Picks up one shell. "Regular buck shot..some bits of it could be hard to get from armor or from your hide." Places it back on table and picks up next. "This..this is slug shell. Believe it or not, it can penetrate Steel Ranger's armor. With good aim this baby can hit the target on 90 meters range." Places shell back on table and takes next. "Oh, my favourite. Flechette. Image, dozens of needles flying towards you..nasty thing...really hard to get everything out after you was hit by it." Picks up all three shells and places them back in the bag. "There are also rare 'Dragon breath'..as you can get from it's name it shoots fire...sticky fire. You can't just get it from the armor, while it burns. I think if it were used on Steel Ranger it would fry him in his own armor." Looks at Quiver. "Till he's crispy."

[Ketchup]

Quiver furrowed his brow.
"...I think I understand. But I don't think the shotgun will be necessary."
Quiver cracked a smile, but coughs.

[Katarn]

"Why? I love shotguns." Pauses for a second. "You thought I was intimidating you?" Laughs. "Oh, now I get it..yeah, must be little scary. No, don't worry, I wasn't intend to use shotgun on you. If you'd hurt Novae I'd just skin you alive with my bare claws." Jayne say in joyful voice. "But you've said you won't and you don't strike me as a liar."

"Hey, I'm here, here's the water you've asked." Novae gives Quiver glass of water. "I didn't interrupt anything?"

[Ketchup]

Quiver stared at the griffon.
"No... I don't think you are... thanks Novae."
he continues staring at the griffon.

[Katarn]

"You're welcome. What about you were talking?"

"Oh, nothing. Just a friendly chit-chat."

Quiver drinks the water.
"Yeah, a friendly chat."

Cherry paces back and forth"C-Cast, ya... Ya think they're okay?"She asks with worry clear in her voice.

[Katarn]

"Won't bother you more, kids. Have fun." On word 'fun' Jayne glared Quiver for a second, then he leaved both.

"I hope he didn't try to scare you off?"

[Ketchup]

Quiver shook his head.
"He threatened to kill me if I hurt you."

[Ironmonger]

Cast has started to pace around on seemingly random patrol routes "I'm sure zey vill be fine." he says, noticing the worry in her voice. "Shadow is smart, he will be fine.

[Katarn]

"Oh.." Her ears went down. "Sorry about that...I'll talk to him about it."

[Ketchup]

Quiver sighed.
"I don't think you need to. I'd never do anything to hurt you, Novae..."

Flower head behind Cherry. Fearing what would happen to her if such a large pony turned on her.

Cherry, still worried"But he's also stubborn as a mule. That's the part ah'm worried 'bout..."She bites her lower lip as she looks into the forest, she then turns to grab Flower and holds her.

[Katarn]

Blushes a little. "T-thanks..I mean..."

Quiver puts his wing around Novae.
"Is there a reason he'd think I'd hurt you?"

[Katarn]

Shakes her head violently. "No...I don't think so."

[Ironmonger]

He sighs heavily, his girth making it sound more like the grunt of a bear. "Believe me or not, I have good feelings about zings. It vill be okay."

[Guest]

Cherry holding her helped Flower with her fear but Cherry's worry combined with whatever was wrong with the big pony made her insides twitch and her tail itch. The filly let out a little whimper and hoped her dad would be back soon.

"Ah hope yer right, Cast..."Cherry hears the whimper from Flower and nuzzles her."It's gonna be okay, sweetheart... Uncle Shadow is gonna keep yer daddy safe."She says, trying to keep the worry out of her voice.

[Ketchup]

"Well that's good... I'll stop interrogating you now. I'm sorry."
Quiver looks down at the table and retracts his wing.

[Katarn]

"It's okay....I understand...you want to know more about me....I don't mind if you'll be asking me some stuff."

[Guest]

Flower's insides felt like they untwisted a little at Cherry's nuzzle. The filly in turn nuzzled one of the hooves holding her.
