Despite the simplicity, that scene was a little tough. I wanted to show Cast as having a soft side towards the helpless, however he would have to be very straightforward since he has no experience in working with them as the part of the Heer he was in didn't deal with civilians that much.

I doubt that none of them were awake or fought back. I'd assume that not all of them would be bloodstained, since some were taken with relatively few injuries, the colts and the filly being examples.

You know you can just place Shadow on watch. He Is better adapted for night shifts then the rest of the party. And it's not like he's going sleep.

This is the wasteland. The only clean mattresses are all underground and Quiver's lock picking isn't that high.

But I'm nit picking now. I'll admit some of them might not have blood on them but keep in mind all mattresses are used these days.

I lost track of my point. I think what I was trying to say that even the mattresses that are stained are still much better then the ones they were forced to lay on a while ago.
