Nope. Can't sell it, can't use it for interaction. After skill books are used, I delete them from inventories and they disappear from the game.

try not to press him too hard, he's not in the best of moods... and it does set a good standard basis for the weapons if they are all kept in check somehow.

in other words its easier for him to track them their damage rates, and their prices

It also makes it easier for me to actually keep track of how good certain guns are, how much they are worth, and what kind of skill is required for them. Made up ones require me to make up more stuff, and I already have enough to deal with without everyone saying "Hey, can I make up a gun to have?"
