"Thanks." Clock puts the pistol and caps in her bag.

Eve proceeds to Plot Armour. She knew she wouldn't end up buying anything, but that wasn't the purpose of the visit. She enters the store, casting a quick look around, before approaching the counter.

[CamoBadger]

"Welcome! Nice mask," the stallion commented as Eve entered.

[XT Vengeance]

[perception 7 (7+2+1)]Charcoal trots up to the door and places his ear against it.

[CamoBadger]

Charcoal hears a quiet shuffling.

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal slowly opens the door, his rifle at the ready.

[MrMagma]

Eve was shocked by the reaction to her mask. It wasn't the typical response most people had. "Thanks, I guess." She pauses for a moment, thinking to herself that it couldn't hurt to see what the stallion was selling. "What've you got for sale?"

[CamoBadger]

"All sorts of armor. Leather, metal, vests. Any specific details you might need?"

[MrMagma]

Eve shrugs. "As long it's not too heavy, I don't really care."

[CamoBadger]

As the door opens, Charcoal sees a pair of eyes watching from a doorway at the end of the hall, but as soon as he sees them the door slams shut.

"Light, I can do that."

Whisper to Charcoal:

[perception 7 (3+2)]Charcoal looks into the hallway, checking to see if anything else is there.

Whisper to Clock:

[CamoBadger]

The hallway is lined by 1 door on either side, and the door at the end. The hall turns to the right just before the final door.

[MrMagma]

"How much for the metal armour?"

[CamoBadger]

"The metal will cost you 200 caps."

[MrMagma]

"And if I gave you the armour I'm wearing now?" Eve asks, hoping it would reduce the cost so that it wouldn't put a large dent in her caps.

[CamoBadger]

"I can take off 100 from the cost."

[XT Vengeance]

whisper to clock:

[perception 7 (2+2+1)]Charcoal creeps down the hall and places his ear up against the left door.

[CamoBadger]

Charcoal doesn't hear anything on the other side of the door.

[Tytan]

(Perception 5+5)Clock sneaks down and listens to the door on the right.

[CamoBadger]

She can hear soft breathing on the other side.

[Tytan]

Whisper to Charcoal:

Charcoal quietly moves next to Clock.

[perception 7 (9+2+1)]Charcoal pushes open the door, his rifle at the ready.

[MrMagma]

"Hmm...maybe I'll come back after I've got more caps." She is about to walk out of the store, but remembers why she went there in the first place. "You wouldn't happen to have any jobs, would you?"

[CamoBadger]

A single small eye is seen behind an air vent near the floor, but as soon as the door is pushed open a loud clanging fills the room as the eye frantically backs away and deeper into the vent.

"That depends on what kind of work you're willing to do."

[XT Vengeance]

Perception 7(7+2+1)][charisma 6(6+1)]"Hey there...it's okay. We aren't going to hurt you," he says, moving over to the vent for a closer look. "Come on out," he says softly.

[MrMagma]

"I'm listening." There was very little that Eve was unwilling to do, and she could always say no if it over-stepped her almost non-existent boundaries.

[CamoBadger]

The eye creeps closer tentatively until it is just behind the vent grating. The two ponies can see that it belongs to a little ghoul foal with the other eye missing. He looks terrified and backs up again at the sight of the guns.

"Well, it isn't much, but if you manage to find any sexy magazines, I'd pay you 20 caps for each of them."

[Tytan]

[Charisma 9+2]Clock puts her pistol away, "Don't worry sweetheart. We're not here to hurt you. Now why don't you come out and we'll have a little talk."

The colt tentatively moved forward again, peeking back out before slowly pushing open the vent and stepping out. He presses his backside against the wall, still trying to stay as far from them as he could. His one eye stares up at the ponies with worry.
