[End 6(2+1)]"Ah'm fine."He growls then starts walking back to town he starts to stumble out of the camp. He collapses as soon as he exits camp.

"Shadow!"She rushes over to him.

Quiver rushes over and examines Shadow with a glance.
"What's wrong with him? Does he have any conditions that might cause this?"

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"damn kid." Painkiller growls to himself. He checks shadow over {Medicine 70 rolls 63} "Looks like magic exhaustion, only he hasn't been using it excessively. Most unusual."

"Idiot!"She looks at Shadow"Damn, idiot, ah told'im not ta over do it. But he never listens..."She looks at Quiver and Painkiller"Don't worry, ah know what ta do. This ain't first time he's done this."

"I doubt it will be the last. You need help carrying him?" Painkiller offers, [strength 8 roll 6+3=9]

Quiver says, concerned.

"Just let me try first, he's done it enough fer me ta at least try."[STR 4 (3-1)]She tires to lift him but only results in barely lifting him"Damn, he's heavy..."She looks at Quiver"It's just his magic, he'd have ta explain it, but he gets like this if he isn't covered up properly... He my also get some minor burns."

"Alright, as long as you know what to do. Painkiller, you ought to carry him. I'm not very strong myself."

Painkiller Carefully loads the limp pony on his back, he wraps the fingers of his wings around him to keep shadow from slipping off during their walk, Then with a second thought, he empties the contents of his doctor's bag into his barding pockets and puts it over shadow's exposed head. "Well then Lets get him into town, I'll take a look at him there."

Cherry giggles a little at the bag on Shadow's head"Yeah, lets get goin'."

Two hours later the group arrives in New Appaloosa.

"you have a room already?"
Painkiller asks.

"No, but ah'll get one quick."She smiles and heads to the Inn/Tavern."A room fer two please."She puts 100 caps on the counter and takes the key.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller follows her up to their room and places the unconscious Shadow on the bed.

He then reclaims his doctor's bag and replaces the equipment back inside.

"You mentioned he would have burns?"

[Guest]

"Yeah, let me check that."She takes off the duster and starts to look over Shadow

[Luck 3 (10-2)]His body is mostly clear of anything except for some spots that have very minor burns.

"He'll be fine, we'll just leave him in the dark fer a bit and he should be back ta his old, stubborn self by tomorrow."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"Alright then, just remember, if he wakes up before then, No. Hanky. Panky. He needs rest and he won't get it with you playing cowpony all night." Painkiller gives a slightly condescending smile. "Although, I must confess, I've not done that in a long time."

Cherry blushes"A-ain't my fault, he doesn't listen..."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"It takes two ponies to tango." Painkiller responds. "I will be down in the tavern if you need anything."

He takes his leave, but pauses as he passes through the door, he winks a bit with a bit of mischief in his eye. Well, it would me more obvious if the eyes weren't mechanical.

Cherry sticks her tongue out at Painkiller when he leaves, then turns back to Shadow and runs her hoof through his mane. She takes a drink of a bottle of water, then starts cleaning Shadow's 10mm and 9mm SMG's.

Painkiller takes a seat in the tavern area and just broods quietly. He wishes he still had that book to read, but noooo it had to vanish in a puff of smoke.

Quiver finds a tranquil place behind the tavern and begins writing.

Cast Iron sits outside the Inn, polishing his armor and weapons with an old rag.

Charcoal trots over tot he inn and sits on the porch, waiting for Clock. He cracks open his copy of Explosives Handling and You and begins to read.

Searchlight makes his way to the inn, he walks towards the counter. "How much is it for a room?" He asks the inn keeper.

After a while Cherry decides to leave the room, she spots Charcoal"Oh, uh, howdy Char. Mind if ah ask how the fight went earlier today?"

"A room is 45 caps per pony each night," the mare serving as the Innkeeper replied with a grin.
