My point is he's just as efficient a fighter right now as everyone else even though he put no points in a weapon skill.

I see your point, but there are quite a few characters with no points in combat skills. As we continue it will matter, and different roles will show up within the team that makes some better for fighting while others best stay away from the stronger enemies. Those characters will do their jobs of healing, opening locks, hacking terminals, etc: the things the combat oriented characters will be unable to do. Right now everyone is on the same 'level' so to speak because we just started. Give it time.

This is the system I have set up, and I'm not going to change it suddenly. I know it isn't perfect, I never expected it to be, but it is what it is.

It's not like medicine rolls will pop up often. This is the first time it's actually had any effect, and even then it was either to get Painkiller laid or make him play Courier for 5XP. It didn't make a huge difference at all.

well yes his main weapon won't be able to upgrade much, but it is supposed to allow him to perform surgeries more efficiently, and I am not sure if camo will allow it much, but if his medical skills can be applied to precision combat... anyway. he is a doctor afterall

There'd no point in weapon skills at all is what I'm saying. I don't care that Rum got laid in the slightest. There are those upgrades you were talking about but based on what you said they will not be appearing until Rum has a chance to catch up anyway.

So I could dump all of Flower's point in barter and just grind caps and XP. The system allows for that as it stands.

Later may be sooner than you think. Cherry already has upgraded bags, and you guys do have a chance to buy better guns if you have the money. Unfortunately, the gun store owner is a cap-pinching asshole. And you guys would have gotten better weapons from the boss you fought if he hadn't blown up.

I was talking about previous post. Just because I'm discussing something doesn't mean I'm screaming at my screen or something. Because I pointed out a flaw with the system and suggested a way to fix it I'm pissed off? But after what Ketchup posted I do think I'm starting to ruin the experience for others in which case I probably should quit.
