Charcoal just gives him a look like he doesn't understand what was just said. "What do you mean? Have you ever had anything that wasn't pre-war preserved garbage? I mean, it does the job, but it has almost no taste."

Scorch holds his wings up behind his head so that they look like a crown and then starts to chirp at Flower while strutting around.

"Price will go down to 18 caps."

He shrugs."I've cooked for the two of us before and I couldn't taste that either."

She rolls onto her back clutching he sides as they heaved. "Hahaha." Her hind legs flailed around behind her.

"Not bad, sure why not."He puts the cans of cram and 18 caps on the counter.

Cherry stirs awake"Where are we?"She looks around then at Cinnamon bun"Oh, hhey, do ya got any hats?"She slurs

"Blossom, ya already have a hat..."

Cherry sticks her tongue out"Um, pre-war business hat if ya got one, please."

"Huh. If you want, I could try cooking for all four of us sometime. What do you think Clock?"

Seizing a chance, the phoenix walks over to the filly and starts to tickle her with his wingtips.

Clock is pulled back to reality at the sound of her name, "Huh? Oh, yeah. Sure. That sounds like a great idea."

She rolls around trying to 'escape' the attacking wingtips her laughing growing in volume all the while.

"I don't know. Sounds like a waste of food to me."

[XT Vengeance]

"How so?" Charcoal asks. "I mean a meal is usually better if it is cooked properly. It helps to have friends to eat with too."

Scorch lets out a sound close to laughing, while he continues to tickle the filly, stopping every so often to give her a break.

"If you really want to go ahead. I'm just saying if I can't taste it I'm probably not going to clear my plate."

[CamoBadger]

"I'm afraid I don't," Cinnamon replied with a frown. "Sorry miss."

"Awww,"

"Don't worry 'bout it ma'am. She won't remember askin' later anyways."He nods at her as he places the knife in a loop on his coat"Thank ya ma'am, pleasure doin' business with ya."

"I'm sure I can figure something out. I'll have to go get some food though. I cooked my last steak for Clock earlier."

Scorch stops tickling the filly and wraps her in his warm wings. "Squaw."

Four strips of bloatsprite meat float out of his bags and towards Char. "Will these work?"

The filly just sits there enjoying the comforting hug.

Shadow walks back to the room and places Cherry on the bed"Okay, Blossom. Just relax, and have somethin' ta eat. Ah'll be back in bit all right?"

"Okay.... Be back shoon, all right?"

"Ah will."He gives her a bottle of water, a can of peaches, and a fancy buck cake."Ya just focus on gettin' better."A tendril pulls down his mask, and he gives her a kiss.

Cherry returns the kiss"Ah will, love."

He smiles, then pulls up his mask and leaves the room. Looking for Clock.

"Oh? That should work perfectly. I can skewer these on some sticks and grill them over a fire. That should be good to eat. I know a good spot too."

"Squawk." Scorch releases the hug and pats the filly on the head with his wing.

"He says you are a very nice little filly Miss Cactus Flower."

[dodge 3+2=5] "NUTS!" Painkiller calls out

[d20 14] Takes a shot at dashing bug.

As one of the roaches falls, the remaining four split into 2 pairs to attack Jayne and Painkiller.

[2 vs Jayne: 3, 6] Both of the bugs attacking Jayne lunge out to strike but miss. One of them ends up finding purchase on the back of the other and tears it's companion's head off in the confusion.
(3 roaches remain)

[2 vs Painkiller: 8, 14] The other two strike out at Painkiller but miss, landing in the water harmlessly as the pony dodges.

"Can Scorch get us when you're ready? I've got some supllies to pick up."

"Sure. He'll lead you out to us. You coming with Clock? I can have Scorch come get you as well if you want."

[d20 11] While radroach is distracted by tearing head of his 'buddy', Jayne hits it with but of his shotgun.

Painkiller whirls with his shovel scraping it at the nearest roach on regaining his footing

Clock thinks about it for a moment, "Have Scorch come get me. I'll be looking around town."

"Sure." Charcoal trots outside of the town, holding the bloatsprite meat in the pot balanced on his back.

Painkiller thrashes, dropping his shovel, his mechanical wings deploy in his surprise and panic reacts on instinct. [combat 11] He grasps the radroach and skewers it with all the ends of his appendages

Whistles, as Painkiller kills last bug..more towards with what, than how. "That's..a...what the hades is that thing?" Point's at Painkiller's 'wings'. "You can answer, while we're looking for nest."
[Luck 8+1=9] Jay looks at 'corpses', not hoping to find something of value there.

Shadow notices a light grey mare that he thinks is Clock, he taps her shoulder"Um, yer Clock, right?"

Clock turns to the bundled up pony, "Uh, yeah. Can I help you?"

"Yes, actually, ya can. Ya see, ya got anythin' that can help a hangover? Blossom, discovered alcohol and kinda over did it."
