"Zank you." he says to both of them and he proceeds to gulp the drink down quickly, wincing a bit at the burning of the powerful intoxicant. As he sets the glass down his eyes go half-lidded....and he promptly collapses face-first into the bar, passing out.

"Thanks. That will definitely be useful," he says, slipping the potion into his bag. "You...you going to open your gift?"

"Switchblade? How did that asshole get back in town?" she asked angrily and stopped rubbing the ointment on his hoof.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

painkiller grunts and snorts, "Light weight" then laughs out loud. He beings to prod him with a hoof, "I can't carry your ass, so wake up."

"I dunno. What did he do to get kicked out in the first place?"

"Barkeep you got a marker or a pen I could borrow real quick?" Painkiller gigles a bit then finishes his drink.

Blood sighed and started rubbing the buck's hoof again. "He's my ex-husband. He...may have caught me getting 'friendly' with a patient and tried to burn down the Klinik. Guards booted his ass out the gate rather than kill him after he paid them off."

The barkeeper shook his head. "Do I look like the mare from the General Store to you?"

"Of course." Clock carefully removes the foil. She looks at the cover of the book and tears up a little. She carefully puts the book down and wraps her hooves around Charcoal, "How did you know?"

"Don't whine at me, that's the price," the shop owner argued.

Charcoal is surprised by the hug. "I...you...you seemed to know a lot about science and repair. I thought you would like it...not this much though..." Charcoal stammers at the mare.

He levitates out his new pistol, not aiming it at her but hovering it at the ready, "Do you know he supposedly put a bounty out on you?"

The mare looked up to the pistol and froze. "No...I didn't know that."

"No, I mean how did you know it was my birthday?"

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"No, you don't. You're going to want to have a hoof in this, you'll love it." Painkiller reaches into his doctor's bag and pulls out a medical razor(useless for any kind of fighting), he carefully shaves the coat off of Cast Iron's forehead, just below the lip of his helmet.

"You catch my drift?" Painkiller carefully cleans off the blade and replaces it in his kit.

"Just make sure he doesn't start anything when he wakes up," the bartender said with a sly smile.

"What? I...I didn't...it is? Um...happy birthday," he says to the mare, clearly confused.

"No, I'd imagine you're the last pony to know." He points the pistol at her, "Damn it, I wish he'd had a better reason then that..." He mumbles, biting his lip, "I really don't want to do this..."

The mare stared down the barrel for a second, then looked up to Mincemeat. "I wouldn't recommend it."

Clock figures it out from Charcoals stammering, "Oh, you didn't know... That's fine. You couldn't have know anyways. And besides...," She hugs him even tighter, "I love happy coincidences."

"I...can...tell," he says struggling for breath.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"Just make sure he doesn't start anything when he wakes up," the bartender said with a sly smile.

Painkiller blinks as he spots somethin in his doctor's bag, a surgical pen, for outlining incision lines before an operation. "I think this will be a good one, now what to write?"

"Draw a cock on his horn," the barkeeper recommended absently.

Clock realizes she's squeezing to hard, "Oh, sorry." She lightens her grip, "It's just that it's been years since anyone's celebrated my birthday."

"Well...I guess I'll just have to go get something else special for our dinner tonight."

"Hnnnn," he groans, "I know you don't! But you don't understand, I really, REALLY need the caps." He stares into her eyes and groans.

"God damnit!" He shouts, dropping the pistol back into his bag and slumping in his seat, defeated, "I guess it's not like they'd give her back even if I could pay..."

[Tytan]

"No no. Steak is fine, really. You already got me a present, you don't have to cook anything special."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller's eyes light up, literally. "Brilliant." He draws a pair of testicles on the base of his horn. "Looks rather horny, doesn't he?"

"Yes I do. It's a special occasion, right? I...I just want to make it special."
