Cast Iron has above-average Charisma but nothing spectacular. What he lacks in people skills he makes up for with knowledge and tact, but that doesn't help much with motivating people. Gonna have to work on that.

He hasn't appeared very... warm and friendly.

Which, because of his skill, I assume he CAN be, he just chooses not to most of the time.
