still have a regualr pony digestive system, I have not figured out the ocular implants power yet, but the lungs would just be passive using the body's natural setting to inflate and deflate

Make them solar powered. That way he can be blind in the dark and underground tunnels will be extra fun.

I was thinking about that but that wont line up well with his nightvision perk
later on

perhaps they have a power store for darker environments and they can be connected to a spark battery in his cybernetic wings... eh I think actually if it were powered from the cyberwings power source it would be good enough

Okay guys, here's what's up. I'm going out of town this weekend for work, and won't be back till either Sunday night or Monday morning. This will be happening once a month at a minimum so be ready for it.

This is a test run, if you pass we'll keep it this way, if not I'll just lock the thread whenever I leave.
So, while I'm gone there are no:
-Quests
-NPC interactions
-Shops
-Fights
-Looting
-Scavenging
-Stealing

Nobody takes over. You are all allowed to talk to each other, and that is it. If I come back and find out that somebody took the liberty of acting GM while I was gone, I'm locking the thread next time. If you guys do any of the above while I'm gone (and yes I will read every post), I'll lock the thread next time I leave. Don't screw this up. If you guys end up trading items or buying stuff from another player, PM me it and I'll make the changes when I get back.

that one is easier as they will have an internalized power supply that does need periodic replacement when they are used...and if I do let the eyes have solar power, it could act as a feedback power supply, it won't provide much in the way of recharge, but allows them to hardly use any power from the wing system at all. and possibly charge it ever so slightly, this allows him to see at night when there is no sunlight... just not sure yet, please keep poking holes, I need it to help build up the details of his systems

I don't really see anything else wrong with it other then I'm not sure how well solar power works with constant overcast.

I guess I could ask if you put any thought into how the nightvision perk works. What I mean is it doesn't make sense for his cyber eyes to just suddenly gain that ability.

Edit: Maybe A tiny wind turbine could pop out of his head whenever he's flying to charge his battery.

also he can't fly the wings are like kerrigan's wings from starcraft, not for flight.

Anyway, what I have in mind for Cast Iron's cybernetics is that they have more in common with parts from a heavy lifter rather than medical prosthetics. They are made more for precise manipulation of heavy objects and balance than for speed, but that actually has more utilities than drawbacks.
