*5-10 minutes before Buck, Red, and Shayle arrive*

Terra pushes open the door to the clinic, looking around and quickly spotting Whisper. She stalks over before he can see her, sneaking up behind him and surprise-hugging him.

Whisper jumps a little, then relaxes when he realizes who it is"Uh, howdy darlin' what do I own this pleasant little surprise?"He smiles, and nuzzles her.

"Isaac and Harley offered to look after Artemis, so I thought I'd come pay you a visit." She nuzzles him with an affectionate chirp, "How's work?"

"Isaac did? Good ta see Harley's gettin'im ta talk ta her."He smiles"As for work, been kinda slow. Just been thinkin' really."

[Scyto Harmony]

"Hm, well, maybe it would've been better if he didn't talk. Poor Artemis gets really creeped out by his voice - and she's not the only one." She shudders, "What have you been thinking about?"

[Guest]

"Improving on failed experiments, the Radscorpion farm in the back and maybe taking a vacation..."

[Scyto Harmony]

"Vacation, eh?" She smirks, "Trying to get away from your nagging wife?"

[Guest]

Whisper chuckles"More like tryin' ta get away from work."He pauses"Wow, never thought I'd say that. Anyways, just thinkin' that maybe, since, Artemis is a little older. Maybe Azure could watch her and we could go some where...Ya know, just uh, us."He weakly smiles.

[Scyto Harmony]

"Oooh, How romantic." She giggles, "Now, who are you and what have you done with my work-a-holic husband?"

She chuckles again, and waves her wing as if physically brushing the joke aside, "It would be nice to get out for a while... Where were you thinking of going? Somewhere fancy, like Tenpony? Or maybe an adventure, like up North?"

[Guest]

Whisper shrugs"Haven't figured that part out yet..."He thinks"Probably not Tenpony, reminds me too much of work and I really don't want ta get pulled into somethin'. Up north could work, maybe out west or somethin'."

[Scyto Harmony]

"Out west?" She says, tentatively, "Like where?"

[Guest]

"Well, dad was tellin' me he used ta live out that way when he was little and there are some quiet spots. Maybe go to the west coast, spend some time by the water, maybe see how they built up Las Pegasus..."

[Scyto Harmony]

"That sounds nice," She says, smiling. "Nice salt-air is good for the lungs."

She frowns, "You know, all these years we've known each other - I realize I don't know anything about your family."

[Guest]

Whisper smiles"Yeah, fresh air would be nice."He gives her a kiss.

He looks at her when his family gets mentioned"..Yeah, I guess I haven't really talked about them much have I? Well, anythin' in particular ya wanna know?"

[Scyto Harmony]

"I... are they still alive? I mean--" She looks away, "I mean, if that's a tough subject or anything..."

[Guest]

Whisper shakes his head"It's fine, darlin', my mom and dad have been gone for a while.... and it's not like I ever met any of my other relatives anyways."

[Scyto Harmony]

"How... How old were you when they passed?"

[Guest]

"When mama died, I was five. She never got ta see me get my cutie mark..."He closes his eyes and sighs sadly, then continues"Daddy, he died when I was about seventeen, his was a bit harder ta take since I saw'im go ta the everafter."

[Scyto Harmony]

"I'm... I'm really sorry, Whisper." She mumbles, quietly. She wraps one of her wings around him and holds him close.

[Guest]

"Hey, don't worry 'bout it. I have had plenty of time and drinks ta forget about it."He nuzzles her"Besides for all I know, my mama still has relatives around some where, maybe I'll run into them one day."

[Scyto Harmony]

"Well, maybe we'll find out." She says, hopefully, "Now, this Vacation... when are you thinking?"

[Guest]

"Not really sure, I hadn't really had anythin' set in stone. The idea just kinda popped up a week ago when I was here till five in mornin'."He pauses"...Maybe in a couple weeks? I guess it just depends on what comes up..."

[Scyto Harmony]

She smiles and pulls him into a kiss, "Sounds wonderful."

Whisper returns the kiss"Yeah, it certainly does, darlin'."

Red along with the rest of the group arrive at the clinic.

Red finds a seat in the lobby and carefully removes Pinks from her back. She places Pink's wagon seat on the ground in front of her.

The filly looks around at her new surroundings making filly noises.

Whisper walks into the lobby and notices the group"Uh, howdy, what do y'all need?"

((Okay, here's where we last left off, but it changed a little because Guard and Scyto had Whisper and Terra interact. How about we just cut off that second bit and say that the group just arrived, while Whisper and Terra are inside talking?

Also, dinner. BRB.))
